My surgery is on Feb. 19th in Mexico. I share the same feelings about being nervous and even sometimes talking myself out of this. I had started the Paleo diet just before Thanksgiving and have lost 12lbs. When I think that I don't need surgery, I just have to remember that I have been dieting on and off since 5th grade and I'm now 57! Time to take control!

The unfortunate thing about going to Mexico is I won't be able to eat any authentic Mexican food!
