Hi there! I am 9 days past surgery and had to go to work 6 days after surgery. I am really only doing protein shakes and a 4 oz mug of broth to break it up. My husband had the good sense to put the broth in a YETI cup and it stayed warm all day. It allowed me to sip, sip, sip it for the afternoon. Good luck. Only thing I forgot to do is drink enough water....feels like constantly sipping something..... Amie
