I only have to do a 2 day liquid diet so I am going to enjoy my last weekend and prepare for my nice liquids monday and tuesday!! I just can not wait to have it over i am getting a little nervous but know the outcome will be a new and healthy me!!

No, I am actually haveing my surgery done at Highland park hospital with Dr Denham.. I am nervous but at the same time excited. Good Luck with everything!! I will let you know how my surgery goes!

I am!! I am so exvited but nervous as well.. my date is the 30th of july, if anyone would like to tell me there personal experience i would love to hear it, I just want to get it done and have a new life start!! That is my hopes at least!!

Hey there I am pretty new to the site as well, I am also in the begining stages but I have made up my mind to go with the lap band surgery i just think that the results will be much better in the future for me, and from what I have seen with people who have had bypass, they have sucess but recovery is longer and the problems they have in the future with excess skin exc seems worse. I am going on friday for my Upper GI and then I will meet with my Dr to schedule my surgery!! I think that being young the lap band is defintly the way to go!!
