Breakfast: 1 egg and 1 1/2 oz ham (omelet)

    Lunch: SF jell-o, 4 natchos

Dinner: 1/2 cup homemade veg Soup, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes

    Snack: SF choc pudding

    I don't drink enough water...only 4 cups today

thanks, for this board...it should keep me on track!!!

  2. Vanessa's story is one that I couldn't get into. candy looks great! I tape the shows everyday, and watch them in the evenings. I also wish that Rain and Ranna were at the race. I wonder do you think that the show paid for their flights and hotel? I think that they may have because they were interviewed. I cried and cried at the last episode. I'm saving the tape so that I can watch it again. It was so rewarding to see the success of all the women and what they had to say.

  3. Hi! I have two...on one my right ankle (bonding with my son on a Saturday morning about 15 yrs. ago), and a flower above my left breast. I haven't decided on my third...........but I really, really need another one!!

  4. Linda V

I had the same thing when I had my gall bladder removed about 20 yrs ago. My son (2 months old) kicked my incision and it opened up about 4 inches. I was also told just to put hot compresses (I boiled the Water on the stove to make it hot, before microwaves) on it and it heals from the inside out. Mine was a long healing process because of the length, but I did as I was told and all went well.

  5. 3loves...what I did when I had to swallow the GASTRAGRAFIN...I did what the kids do...plug my nose and you don't taste a thing!!!!

I was banded on the 8th and am doing well with the liquids; the other day I made a pot of chicken Soup with veggies...oh so good and the meat is soft.

I haven't been on Tylenol since the third day after surgery. I'm in not pain. The only thing that bothers me and I'm not sure if it normal or not...where the port is...it's swollen...like 1/2 size of a tennis ball. I'm afraid to sleep on my stomach and to do any kind of crunches.

Anyone else have this swelling (I'm 12 days out)

    thanks,

  6. Outdoor girl: I told my mom three days after the surgery, mainly because I did not want her to worry about me. I had told her that I would be busy all of May and to schedule her surgery (bladder) for June because I wouldn't be able to take care of her. First, I told her that I had a hernia repaired (truth) and then went into the conversation about me losing weight for the past three months. I told her then that I had been preparing for the lapband surgery and explained it to her. Her comments were that I had been doing good so far and that she had heard about the surgery. She really had no lecture (surprise). She did say she was glad she didn't know before because she would have worried about me. She has now moved her surgery up to next week because now I can take care of her.
