  2. I had the duodenal switch surgery done yesterday! Everything went well for me. I woke up in moderate pain and the nurses quickly started giving me pain meds through my IV. I started walking about 4 hours after surgery. Took sips of water and eating jello slowly. I took small sips every 15 minutes or so and reached the intake criteria they wanted me to meet before I could be discharged. I was discharged today. The pain is tolerable and I'm taking my pain meds as needed. Sent from my Z983 using BariatricPal mobile app
