  1. Great stragedy. I'm somewhat doing that and been going to the gym for a few months now. Sounds like you are on the right track! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  5. I have the same concerns. For the last 20 years I have lost weight many times and always gained it back. I know it's going to hard, but I feel being over weight and all that comes with it is hard as well. Good luck. My surgery is not until August. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. Glad to hear there's more out there having this. Hopefully I'll see some updates once you get settled.I wish you well.
  10. That is what the surgeon suggest based on my weight....283 and my weight loss goal is 150. I would be fine weighing 170-180, but he asked me what I would ideally like to weight. I see a lot have the sleeve. I have a friends who had G Bypass 9 years ago and has gained some back, Nothing like she was before though. She knows a lot of people who has had WLS due to going to a lot of support groups over the years and she says she wishes she had chosen the DS due to the fact that it seems to be very successful in keeping the weight down. Why did you chose the Loop? I don't know much about that one. It's not listed as a choice on the website or all the paperwork in a big binder they gave me.
  11. Anyone had the Duodenal Switch Surgery
