Weight Fluctuation Nightmare
I recently hit my doctor goal of losing 100 pounds since my surgery and I'm not sure if I got to comfy or confident but all the sudden within like a week I had gain 4 pounds. It totally freaked me out so bad because I am so scared to go back to where I have been. I started working out again because I had become a slacker and I started eating better and I am back down to the goal weight, but man that was a wake up call. Anyone else have this happen? I think it has made me realize that this is a lifetime commitment to being a healthier person. But I have also become super obsessed with every tiny fluctuation in my weight now. PSW: 270 lbs CW: 165 lbs My Goal: 145 lbs

OCTOBER SLEEVERS CHECK IN HERE
That is so true. I went through some depression and anxiety when I first had my surgery and husband and kids just didn't understand. It was nice to find people who had been through it to talk to. It helped me tremendously.

OCTOBER SLEEVERS CHECK IN HERE
So happy to hear that you are back on track. I agree the forum is super helpful and I am available if you need to talk or vent anytime. I think having a support system is what is going to get us through these huge changes.

OCTOBER SLEEVERS CHECK IN HERE
I agree completely. I was getting frustrated because I had a stall and then I realized man I have lost 44 pounds in about 2 1/2 months and I am down 6 pant sizes!! I feel so much better and have joined the gym. It's so nice to walk across the room and not lose my breath. I have 1 year to lose 100 pounds (goal set by the doctor) I can do this!

Pre op Liquid diet SOOOO hard
Dinner time was the hardest for me too. I usually tried to save my 1 Greek yogurt per day for that time so I could feel like I was eating or I ate a sugar free popsicle. I also tried to go for a walk or find something to do so I wasn't watching my family eat. Good luck it is worth it in the end, but this is just the beginning

OCTOBER SLEEVERS CHECK IN HERE
I was sleeved on October 26th. I was amazed at how quickly I recovered. I have had so many surgeries and have never recovered so quickly. I have lost about 26 pounds as of my 2 week appointment. I don't weigh myself because I'm afraid honestly of what the scale says. I can barely get food in I take 2 or 3 bits and instantly get nauseous and pain but I try. I'm afraid I'm not losing weight but when I look in the mirror I can see progress. I go through bouts of a little depression because I'm afraid I will just start gaining weight again......but I am determined to make this work. Its nice already having my clothes fall off.

Stabbing/burning Pain
I'm so glad I read this I am just past the 3 week post op date and I suddenly started having this burning pain like someone kicked me in the tummy. Sounds like it happens about this time to most. I will tell my doc at my appointment Wednesday but I'm not freaking out as bad as I was.

My name is Jessica and I had a gastric sleeve done on October 26, 3017. I started out at 265 lbs and at 2 weeks post surgery I was at 241 lbs. I haven't weighed myself since that day. I don't want to constantly worry about what I'm losing. I have had

Pre op Liquid diet SOOOO hard
The only thing that got me through it was sugar free popsicles and sugar free jello. I made sure to save that one thing for dinner time so I felt like I was "eating" something good. Sent from my LG-H872 using BariatricPal mobile app
