  1. Maybe because I'm a mobile user, I hardly notice their ads... And they have to make their money somehow. At least the site is free. & tacobell is a hard one for me. I could eat it every day, I swear! Plus, it's right across the street from my job. Terrible. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Yay!!! Mine is April 23rd! So close yet so far [emoji54] Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I watched the first season too! It was very interesting. I was surprised at the lack of knowledge though... Can't remember the girl's name but she didn't know what red cabbage was. She picked up a zucchini and didn't know what it was called either. I'm glad she's getting help though & learning. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. That's amazing! Keep up the dedication. With your hard work I don't see why you can't lose the last 30 in the next couple of months! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I got my surgery date the same day that I was approved by my insurance for surgery. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Good luck!! You got this! I hope you have a speedy recovery! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. I wish I was completely knocked out. I swear I was trying to feebly escape from them. It was an experience to say the least. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Hey! So my appointments were made basically 2 at a time and at my own pace. My doctor's were very flexible. I think it just depends on who you're working with and what they want you to do! Sorry, I know that isn't much help. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Thanks! I'm giving it my all! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this. Not everyone will be supportive, I know... but I just hate being around people like her. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Yes, she's overweight. She's just a jealous person in general. Anything good happening to you? She has something negative to say. I just moved into a new place. It's really cute and nice. Hardwood floors, granite countertops, ect and she told me it was a bad part of town and I'm going to get robbed... sigh. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. My sister in law really grinds my gears! I went to visit her and my brother the other day and she kept brining up my surgery. She kept saying things like you're going to be on medication the rest of your life and you're going to lose all your hair. First off, I'm going to be on vitamins for the rest of my life, not medication... and I'd gladly lose all my hair if it meant being healthy. I just hate that she thinks she knows everything. I'm the one going to doctor appointments & seminars. Not her. I know what I'm getting myself into. I tried to explain it to her, but she just made a face and said we'll see. UGHHHH. End rant. 13. I have to do a 30 day liquid diet... not looking forward to it! 30 days of protein shakes and raw veggies only! It's not my insurance that made me do it, it's my doctor due to my high bmi Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Surgery buddy! I'm having gastric bypass the same day! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. You must not be ready for surgery then. Or you must think surgery is the easy way out. You're still going to have to work for the weight loss. You should know this. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Just had my EDG done earlier today. I was sedated but still conscious. I gagged the whole time. They had to basically hold me down. It was kinda terrible... but I'm thankful it's over! One step closer to surgery! They said I had a 3cm hernia, which is crazy. I had no idea. So, they'll fix that during surgery too. I feel nauseous though. Is that normal? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. It sucks but it's normal. Maybe try upping your protein? Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. April 23rd! Feels so far away! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Wow, that's crazy... I'm proud of you! I hope your recovery is quick! Do you mind me asking how much all that cost? I know I'll need to do all of that in the future. Keep us posted!! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Personally I'm going to do it at the 1 year mark. I want children but not any time soon. I'm 25... I'll have kids in my 30's or adopt! I'm not ready to settle down. I want to travel & meet yummy foreign men on my adventures... so, I say it's whatever you have planned in the future. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
