    I am not aware of the 5 day pouch test. What is that? I've been struggling to take off the weight. I keep fluctuation between 270 and 275. But I know it's the diet. Need to eat clean.

    For all my Muslim folks out there that are fasting during Ramadan, just wanted to check-in to see how you guys are doing? I have had great success since my November sleeve as I have incorporated a lot of lifting and cardio in my everyday life. However, with Ramadan, it's harder to go to the gym because of timing and energy issues. Fasting 18 hours (no water and food) and trying to lift can get dangerous as I have been feeling weak and dizzy at times. But it's getting easier and easier as the days progress. Looking forward to lifting again. It's life changing. Let's keep this journey going!!!!

    Posting for the first time...I got sleeved on 11/14 and I am down close to 20 pounds. So far so good with pain. I have a hard time sleeping at times, but I manage. I am trying to lay off the Oxy until I really need it. Coughing and sneezing cause alot of pain, but that's expected. What have you guys been eating thus far? I am on broth and protein shakes so far.

    After reading all the replies, I AM PUMPED! Had a talk with my elder brother who also had the sleeve done and he didn't have too much excess skin either. He worked his ass off in the gym. That's my plan as well. I get on the Optifast diet from tomorrow. I'm ready for this!

    Hello Men! I am two weeks away from surgery and I am currently on a pre-op Optifast diet. I am getting very anxious as time approaches. My anxiety is mainly about have extra/loose skin. I've lost fat before using yo-yo dieting and my skin was not loose. That was about 4 years ago when I was 28/29. I am currently at 375 on a 6' 4" frame. What has your experience been with loose skin? I know it's inevitable, but what can I do to help? Working out, lifting, cardio, yoga...whatever it takes I am willing to devote myself to it. I'm open to suggestions and words to calm down my loose skin fears. Cheers!
