Well, I haven't done a before and after comparison, until this post prompted me! I am almost 7 full months post surgery and I am down a total of 68 pounds since surgery day and 88 pound since the day I joined my program. I am LOVING life at a more manageable weight, even though the honeymoon as worn off and my eight has pretty much plateaued. I just need to work harder and I know I can reach my goal weight, which is 20 pounds away.

I am considering a move from LA Fitness to crunch Fitness. CF has Skytu scans. Anyone with experience with these body scanners, especially as used by Crunch Fitness?

They sell them on Amazon, but I don't remember how much they were. My hospital gave me one. Maybe ask your surgeon and they could make you one?

This is such a funny story! Card to the rescue! I used mine at Boston Market and they gave me a kids meal! It was perfect!

And I got one from my Bariatric Dietician at the Ohio State University- WEXNER Medical Center. Asked Roy why it was on the Reverse of his Business Card? He just chuckled and said " If the resturant or in Your case- the Handsome Dude dressed in Blue- they can call him and he will re- state it personally. I don't fear being catorgorized as DRUGGIE as much as my appearance of failure to thrive/ starvation- after all I AM one- half the size of my ID picture, even if I put down 250 I was really pushing 350 at THAT TIME- ho- hum I need to renew it the Day after Christmas, yes my Commonwealth friends -Boxing Day- the difference This Year I am the size of a Small envelope instead of the Parish PoorBox- zippety do dah for ME!

Ultimately, after you reach your goal weight, cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin will be your goal, and an expensive goal as well

I have reached my goal weight. Combo of being a hard core follow the diet, walking, rucking, weighty lifting, sword fighting martial arts, and running. This year, I am running particularly better that last fall. Faster, and better form. A 38 min 5k to a decent 31:30.
Now, I have a low BPM of 42. 6 months ago it was 60. I happened to met another physically active bariatric patient, and he has a 37 BPM. Then, met another patient that has 45. Not barycadis. All of us are healthy, and have awesome blood pressure.
Is this a "thing" with bariatric patients after loosing a lot of weight? Is there something about having better blood flow or something?
