I can't eat an entire children's meal in one sitting... I'm almost 3 months out... I find that my restriction varies from day to day.. Today, I ate half a sandwich for Breakfast, the other half for lunch and some cheetos (I feel bad about them.. ;( .. I will make a better dinner choice)... My friend always complains that I'm not eating enough and that I should force myself to eat, it's all in my head, etc.... I told her to stop or we won't be dining together any longer...

I'm a high school teacher.. I took 6 weeks off... Mainly because my job is stressful and i have to move computers, books, take stairs, etc. I would at least take 3 days or so off, just to make sure you're able to get your fluids down w/o issues.

I usually get an appetizer as my meal or my friends and I get an entree and a few sides and I get a small plate of whatever I want.. One of the waiter's at my fave restaurant (the Grand Lux Cafe) was concerned because I left most of my appetizer/entree on my plate.. I assured him I was good, the food was great and that I was saving room for dessert.. Which I was.. 1 chocolate chip pecan cookie!! As far as the anxiety when dining w/ family and friends... I try and take my time and eat very slowly, engage in lively conversation and try to actually have a good dining experience... I totally understand though... I hope you find something that works for you, so you can be less frustrated....

I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks... when I'm drinking enough water, I have to make myself stick to my eating schedule... It works!! My blood sugar drops quickly when I go longer than 3 hours between meals..

Per request (LOL)... I've attached pictures from last night's event (I don't know how to make them small.. SORRY)... I had sooo much fun!!! These are my NSVs from last night... My dress is 3 sizes smaller that what I would have purchased in November!! I did not struggle to put on "cheap" pantyhose for the first time in my life!!! I bought them from Walgreens.. 3 bucks!!! Not 20!!! I wore my heels for over 6 hours... (They are too big... they 2" peep toe slings... in the last hole!!) I wasn't dropped off at the door, we parked towards the back of this huge lot and I walked to the place and then to the car afterwards I was complimented all night about my dress and personality... I didn't try to diminish it or find something wrong with myself... Is said Thank You and kept is moving (this is HUGE for me!!) The photographer there told my BFF, "This girl is something else I was okay w/ not choosing to eat what was placed before me.. The conversation and interaction was so engaging, that I literally forgot to eat... (I did have fish and broccoli) I saw my WL doctor, my surgeon and nurse practitioner... They all talked about how good I looked and that I look happy... This encouraged me a lot.. I've been struggling w/ submitting to the journey and not trying to win a race!! It was nice to see a lot of people from my support group.. And to just enjoy the evening... I'm looking forward to next year's Dinner/Dance so I can take plenty of comparison shots!!!! Thanks guys for all of your support and encouragement.. I truly appreciate it!!

I know!! I feel so blessed! I've read posts where people have been mistreated and disrespected.... I'm so glad that wasn't my experience.. That would be a mess!!!!
