I'm going to France in the next few months to have surgery. I'm undecided on whether to go for a Lap band or a Mini gastric bypass. Could I please get some advice on both - recovery times, loses, long term weight loss etc.

Hi Jodie,
I would suggest you ask this in the main forums, rather than as a status update - you'll probably get a lot more answers. Personally, I have not heard anything good about a lap band (in fact, many surgeons refuse to do them anymore) so you may want to look into that. I had a gastric sleeve and have had no regrets!
