Hello All, First off this question has been asked a thousand times so I apologise for posting it again, I had my fill (0.5ml) 3rd October I only have really small fills because I tend to feel restriction quite quickly. I had not noticed a massive amount of difference after I had my fill. But in the last few days my band is definitely tighter. Also I have lost my appetite I am eating because my tummy grumbles not because I actually want to. I am enjoying light food like fruit at the moment. Any way any comments or referrals to previous threads would be appreciated. Best wishes KiKi XX

It's always awkward when you want something out of the normal. I am vegetarian and only like certain vegetables, I have always ordered something different that what is officially stated on the menu! I normally just stick to places that I can order off the kid’s menus. No one as yet has refused me I also have a card with a picture on it of the gastric band I think people are squeamish and just wanna stop looking at the picture :bolt: If there is no kiddies menu I either throw it away or ask for it wrapped. I am quite loose with my band at the moment and can't get my next fill till the 3rd so not much left over’s at the moment lol Still not gaining and that’s all good XX

Oh yes I know the kind you mean, I think my food weighing scales take those type! I think you can get them of amazon at a reasonable price. Might be worth investing in a toy that takes AA batteries just for you own convinience really! I was in Ann Summers on Saturday don't know if you have them in th US but they sell panties and bras and sex toys and such like, went in with BF and we both stood there mortified as a sales assistant proceeded to show us how everything worked and the new in toys! I have never seen her in it she just seems to keep blocking up the same tube! She has a bedroom, the habitrail has pod's I got 2 of the green pods one is her bedroom and one is her bathroom. She is very tidy I have to say she only pees in the bathroom pod! K XX

Hello all of you! I never though I would get this much response! I have the Habitrail Ovo system which has tubes Biscuit (the hamster) has taken to moving all her sawdust from the main area of the habitat as its called up the tube I just wondered what on earth thats about???? I have been adding to her habitat every month when I get paid but am worried she is just a bit bored really I can take a picture of my set up to give a better idea. Also I read somewhere that hamsters like the sand and they quite like sand baths I was thinking of getting one for her will it be ok to use Chinchilla sand as that about all I can get here! Thanks in advance! This is what I started out with as a rough idea of the type of home she has, I have added the large maze as well but I still think its a bit on the small side. My BF and I don't really use sex toys for me it seems to take longer and is more hard work that doing it myself! I can't climax through penetration I think it’s a very very low percentage of women that can and also depends on the sexual position you are using. If you think about it logically the clitoris is to far away from the vaginal opening to be stimulated through penetration. My BF is 33 and he can go for about 40 mins tops. I am the same as th girls earlier once I have got mine I would like it to end ASAP! We don't have sex every day but I do make sure that he climaxes every day with errr hand or mouth (prob TMI) Keeps him happy bless him!

Hello! Oh yes I forgot I got a vitamin pill every day too! No protein shakes though! Just the milk and the juice and a water allowance. I figure the juice was seen as a good way to boost my calorie intake, and get in some extra vitamins! I lost about a stone that week though. I had my operation in the UK we have the National Health Service (NHS) it’s paid for by our tax and national insurance. They paid for my op and provided the dietician that gave me the pre op diet. I had to buy so much soya milk the glass shelf in my fridge broke!

I was banded on a thursday and went back to work on the monday but only for a half day! I have quite a sedantry office job although i felt fine physically the worst of it was the tiredness!

Sounds similar to what I did! I got 2 litres of soya milk a day and 400ml of apple juice. I am lactose intolarant so could not have cow milk. I only had to do 7 days though! I did lose a significant amount of weight though even in a week so it was kinda worth it! The longing for food wears of one the hunger subsides I was fine by the surgery. The only down side was (this is prob TMI) the soya milk coated my tounge and no matter how much i brushed my teeth my breath was still awfull, and after a while my urine started to smell like soya milk not nice! I spent about 3 days after the op scrubbing my tounge!

None of my shoes fit anymore either! I had to buy a new pair for work! Still I got over it everyone needs new shoes now and again! Also feel confident enough to wear heels again now :thumbup:

I could barely string a sentance together first couple of days of my liquid diet! I agree with Fanny prob best to get out whilst they are eating! I had a similar experience I had to go out to a family birthday meal at a Chinese reasturant (which just happens to be my favourite type of food) and not eat anything it was torture! But worth it in the end! Good luck!
