27 days is liquid and puréed food time together. I wish day 8 was soft food for me! Good luck to you too:)

Actually, the extreme hunger has subsided. I did make some very brothy veggie chicken soup and blended into a both. It's very satisfying.

HELP! I am 3 days post -op and feel great. No pain, tolerating water and protein shakes. My only issue is that I AM HUNGRY!!! I don't see how I am going to drink liquids / pureed foods for the next 27 days! I this normal to feel so hungry??

Surgery yesterday -- what have I done?

I had my surgery on Wednesday and left hospital on Thursday night around 7. Dr. said I could stay another night if I wanted but I didn't. Now that I am home, I am also in a lot of pain. No pain meds except for Tylenol and Ibuprofen. It hurts reaily bad to swollow liquids but I have also had two protein shakes today. I keep thinking about eating and feeling like I've made a big mistake. It feels so permanent.
