  1. I wanted those who were being discouraged about their weight loss to see what the average person who is following all rules should be losing and have a good idea of what they will lose in the next year. This is absolutely accurate for me, i was 244 and now im 207. So right on target!
  2. The day before you start pre-op diet, your starting weight Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Its your starting weight before surgery
  4. I was simply trying to tell those who were worried about their weight loss progress to be happy about it. Not trying to turn this into a debate about individuals and there weight loss, again if you read the thread it simply states everyone is diffrent. Just want some people to appreciate the loss, not feeling bad about it!
  5. First of all im not comparing myself to anyone!! Dont need to, I'm happy. All i was trying to say is be happy that you are losing and appreciate it. Of course everyone is diffrent, no one should try to compare themselves to others. We all have our own personal journeys at our own pace, i just own mine and absolutely appreciate each pound gone no matter how long it takes.
  6. Ok, so i really like this site but......... why are so many people complaining about loosing weight of 30-40 lbs in just a little over 2 months? I dont understand! When was the last time you lost that kind of weight. My surgery day weight was 244, today its 209. Thats 35lbs and im super, excited, happy!!!!! I feel wonderful, not discouraged or wondering if im loosing slow or not. All that matters is im loosing, so be happy !!!! If you read everyones weight loss on this paticular forum you will see your not losing slowly at all, if anything a little more or about the same as everyone else. Again be happy your losing!!!
  7. I did saturday for the first time. I had 2 margaritas with lunch and got a nice buzz, And 2 at a party later that night. Did not get drunk at all but i did get sick with diarrhea, i believe it was probably the sugar in the drinks. I did not get drunk at all, but felt pretty good:0) needless to say i will be drinking something else next time
  8. I agree with etc.etc.etc. i count weight loss at surgery date 8/29/17 hw: 272 sw: 244 cw: 214 so thats how i came up with 30lbs loss. I did not loose any weight pre-op, but was only on liquid diet prior for one week.
  9. Your not alone!!! I have only lost 30lbs in 2 months as well, but im happy!!!! Couldnt have done those 30lbs without the help of my sleeve, so continue to be just happy and know you will get there. I have even seen people posting pics already at 1 month and 2 months and wishing man i want to do that. And i will, when its my time, and it will come:0) and guess what? We will all look absolutely AMAZING!!!

Your decision to have this surgery is gonna change your life completely, but for the good!! Trust me, it did for me:0) wishing you all the best!!

    Soft/puréed today!

My favorite was the cambells cream of potatoe soup. It tasted just like a baked potatoe. Later after a few weeks, i added fat free sour cream and fat free shredded cheese to. Just amazing!! SD:8/29/2017 SW: 244 CW: 217 GW: 145 Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Have to share two NSVs!

Mine was when my 9yr old got off school bus and i was wearing my hair up in ponytail (which i hardly ever do) And she said real loud, " mom, you look so skinny". SD: 8/29/2017 SW:244 CW:217 That was perfect considering im only down 27lbs. Didnt think it was noticeable yet:0) Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Grrrr

I found frozen chicken cooked on the grill is the easiest way for myself to eat it. Very juicy, tender, and pretty much melts in my mouth without much chewing. Plus chicken Montreal seasoning cooked on it was like heaven to me. Good luck, hope you can find a way for you :0) Sent from my SM-G928T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Surgery didn’t work?

My surgery date was august 29th 2017 Hw: 272 Sw: 244 cw: 219 25l lbs lost and I'm just happy !! I too thought at first I'm not losing enough, but what everyone says repeatedly on these forums is true!! Everyone isn't the same, I'm happy just losing! I don't care how slow, I'm losing!! That's all that matters to me, so just be happy, that's why it's called a journey. Not complaining anymore untill I gain lbs, then we have a problem.
