  1. Very good article! My first take away and putting it in my words is this. People who get the sleeve are hitting the “reset” button. By hitting this button, you are starting a 2 year countdown clock. This 2 year window is your biggest construction phase of the remaking of YOU. This is how you change your ways, thinking, and general attitude towards yourself. It’s a lifelong struggle, we all know that. But this 2 year window is where you have the greatest opportunity you get to attempt at reprogramming yourself.

    Just my thoughts!

  2. They are fitting more comfortable especially my jeans there not cutting into my stomach I️ have extra room I’m able to fit in a xl shirt in some places before it was a 3x or2x... thank you for replying I️ appreciate your help good luck on your journey [emoji4]...... I’ve been mostly doin meats since they have the most Protein I️ don’t get my protein from shakes because after surgery they all made me nauseous I️ have tried them all

No prob. Everyone has a different story. Once you are cleared.... pick up a dumbbell. It will help you immensely.

From what you just said there tells me your muscles are preserving themselves. I.e. clothes fitting better

  3. I️ have only been walking haven’t been cleared for anything more then that... also with barely get in 500 calories a day I️ was just surprised... how far out are you on this journey and how many calories do you consume daily

    Sleeved nov 11/17

I’m getting about 600-800 calories in.
I’m aiming for 40/40/20 macro on my nutrition. When I was lifting hard I’d consume 5000 calories plus a day. I had lots of muscle mass but I couldn’t get below 22% body fat. Then of course bad habits took over. And my weight became a battle

I walk 1.5 miles in 40 minutes on a treadmill at 7 incline. I’m going to start lifting Jan 1, but for muscle tone only. My days of powerlifting are over.

Protein will help preserve your muscle and force your body to use fat cells as energy.

    How do your clothes fit?

  4. What r you doing for exercise?

These are my rules I stick too
Rule # 1 it’s only a number it’s how your clothes feel and how you feel.
    Rule # 2
Lifting weight or resistance training of some sort is a must. Your muscle that you tone and build will use the fat as energy and infact you could way more but be smaller if that makes sense.

I was heavy into powerlifting but won’t be anymore since I was sleeved as being over 300lbs is not good for your heart or joints.

  5. I have a bad diet coke habit so I'm going to take the 'no carbonation' as a strict rule. If I make exceptions, I could see myself slowly letting diet soda back in and I'm better off without it.

I was same as you but kicked it 3 weeks ago.(man I sound like an addict [emoji38][emoji38])
    Feel a lot better!

  6. Tomorrow afternoon is the big day for me! I am self pay and going to Mexico by myself. Flying from the eastcoast so it will be a very long day. Surgery time is around 2:30 pm (5:30 pm my time). Very excited, not really nervous, but am sure I will be tomorrow afternoon. Let's do this! [emoji16] Prayers are welcomed!
