Remember why you are doing this. Keep your eyes on the prize. They do make these add to ur water packets. They are SF and come in Root beer flavor also Orange Crush. They taste like POP without the fizzy. Good stuff and they only cost $1.00. You can do this!! KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!

Trust me, I know the feeling. But today, I hit 130 kg even, so if not having soda is part of my weight's hike down the mountain, then I'll gladly trade it in for some high-protein Fairlife chocolate milk.

In the long run, you'll be better off if you can stay away from soda drinks.

They are one of the top three reasons that weight loss surgery recipients fail.

If you can spend the time and energy diverting yourself to new sources of liquid intake that are pro-WLS, you'll have a better chance of not sliding back to old habits.

As Veronique says, it's worth trading soda off for a better future you!

  13. @ReadyforChangeChan not sure if the measuring system they use but I have to be within the requirements until surgery day as it is told by my doctor.....I did ask the insurance and they said aince I already have my approval I shouldn't have anything to worry about Idk I'm so confused... @GassyGurl yes I have a strategy already.....filling up on water and heavy layers
  14. Yes, the doctor does but not insurance under their requirements I would not eligible at my current bmi of 39.6
  15. @ThickGirl5683 Yes, that's my plan lol cause it's in 2days ive been eating like crazy but nothing of course @sassy683 no just the normal weight loss requirements @EW I first started at 234 went up to 240 them 227 I have asthma but thats not a "good" enough coexisting health risk
  16. Hi there, I have been struggle with my weight since I was in grade school always bigger than the rest. I was referred for weight loss surgery by my pcp in May 2017 did all the necessary requirements that was needed by my insurance......nutrition classes,EKG, psych eval etc. My surgery is scheduled for this Friday 9/15 but I'm nervous because I had my preop with my surgeon last week and he said I lost TOO MUCH weight and needed to gain or my insurance would not cover it.  So you can imgaine my surprise When now I'm told to gain weight I've been trying eat everything in sight but of course now that I need them few lbs it won't happen. I weighed myself today I'm 227 and I'm the same as I weighed last week even after eating a lot......Ugghhh but then I was researching and seeing if others had this problem of loosing too much weight then the insurance not approving them or I even read the insurance takes back the approval.....I wanna know if any one else had this problem where they lost TOO much weight and inaurance gave them a problem. I have the approval letter from the insurance and what I read is that when my claim was submitted my weight that I began with was what they initially submitted which would have of course made me eligible.....I just don't wanna be excited for Friday and then get to the hospital and they tell me no your not fat enough........?
