ALFxRNY got a reaction from Orchids&Dragons in Face to Face Friday!
I’m only 11 weeks post op now. I still don’t see too much of a difference but I’m down 57 lbs (32 since surgery). The left pic is the day of surgery, the right was yesterday (before putting on my makeup). I guess I have a neck and more defined cheekbones now, lol. You all look awesome

well it's been 10 days now. I am bottom line , glad for it, until yesterday and today if was progressing WONDERFULLY. Then last, night Precious Pouch rebelled against what I tried to feed her and today has been a little better, but was still upchucking at lunch time. Not made at the surgery as much as worrying. I gave my surgeon faulty, raw, material to work with, but it has been 6 hours and maybe I am returning the corner. Been sipping liquids and they are staying down. Maybe,Frustr8,is back,of the road to Fine and Dandy. And how,is YOUR DAY?

That is amazing! Congrats! I had a few pairs of jeans that were once too tight and now they fit loosely. Great feeling isn’t it? -

I was definitely hoping for a higher weight loss too. The body is a funny thing like that. I’ve lost a lot, I won’t discredit progress but I thought I’d be losing at a much faster rate than I am. It’s all dependent on your starting weight. People at lesser weights tend to lose a little slower than people at higher weights. Other factors are Water weight/bloat, hormones, your body still trying to heal. Just keep going, something has to give along the way -

Definitely still putting in the work! Even when my scale doesn’t move my measurements tell me a different story! 😊 -

Yes true. Your body is trying to catch up that's all. Patience ladies and continue your healthy eating and being active.

lol! I don’t even see a difference in the temples but my sunglasses did start falling off of my face! It’s odd seeing the definition coming in! -

I was stalled for about 2.5 weeks and then my scale finally went back down to 252 (I was holding Water from lady time apparently). Hoping I’m back on the losing track now. Stalls are such a buzzkill 🙄

@ALFxRNY Your jawline is definitely more defined as well as your temple area. (I notice that area because I was so happy when my glasses no longer left dents down the side of my face! )

It's hard for me to see any difference in myself as well. I compare pics and they all look the same to me. I can see the difference in your pics for sure. Your face and chin are more defined and your neck as well. Great job on your loss, keep up the great work.

Looking good, lady! Love the short hair. Chopped mine off yesterday, about 8". Stylist couldn't believe how much was coming out in the sink.
Here is my face to face for Friday. 377 to 231. Looking a little fancy pants cuz it's my birthday- my buh- buh-buh birthday.

So lets do a face to face Friday! I also had some non-scale victories this week. My daughters teacher from the last 2 years did not recognize me! And my fitbit is on the last notch so I need to get a size small band now! Geez I really hate the older picture. I can finally stand to have my picture taken now though!

Glad you’re doing well! Maybe get milk of magnesia or Miralax, or smooth moves tea for the constipation. Good luck! And also, animal sitting sounds like fun! -

My surgeon made me do them because I had the Nexplanon birth control at the time. If you’re on a birth control or any kind of hormones or aren’t very mobile they want you to do the shots. Well where I am that’s the case anyway -

I didn’t go through a smelly phase at all after bypass. My surgeon made me wait 3 weeks before taking Vitamins but I never had a smell and no one turned their noses and spoke of a smell, lol. And I had to do the lovenox injections for a week. I did them in my stomach though, not my thighs. Good luck with everything!
