  1. Yes. Every single day. My drive is strong now and I fear when I let my guard down I will fall back into old habits. Even though I’ve done the work to get here I don’t always have faith in myself that I will be able to keep it up. I’m hoping that feat will keep me in track.
  2. Hannah83 - You've got this!!! It can be so exhausting trying to be something you have to fake. Definitely get into your doctor as soon as you can. Is the gym a stress reliever or something you feel like you have to do? Maybe you can take an evening off and find some foods that will stay down and taste good to you, prepare for the week, give your mind a rest. Be gentle with yourself. It takes time to find the right balance. Hugs.
  3. Ecowles675 I’d love more friends!
  4. Forgot to post yesterday, 215!! Goal was 220. Next goal- get below 200 which i have not seen in probably 20 years!!! Thank you so much Kel for running this. It is so helpful to have accountability friends who understand the challenges with this process, especially since I am still learning myself! Looking forward to a new challenge to stay on course!
  5. Current Weight: 219 Goal Weight: 220 Today's Date: 1/3/18 I hit goal today!! I'm down 36 lbs since surgery 10/20. I struggle to not compare myself to everyone else, as I feel like I should be losing faster. But, I'm averaging a 3-4 lb loss/week. I won't complain about that! Slow and steady, I have to keep reminding myself that!!!
  6. I forgot to post yesterday 12/20/17 225
  7. I feel like I am finally losing, lost 5 pounds this week. I'm down 30 pounds since surgery on 10/20, Definitely have restriction with solid food. My mind still thinks I can eat a whole plate full. I find myself eating too fast at first and then when I'm full, wishing I could eat more as now I'm ready to savor it. Trying to keep the willpower strong but have had a few bad days with work treats. No one at my office knows so I try to keep the appearance of eating normal. I usually can pass things up or take something and then toss it once I'm at my desk, but poor planning got the best of me and I went into a meeting without eating first. Bad idea!! Started up a weight training program this week and excited to get that going. Almost all of my pants are too big but hesitant to buy new ones yet. Thanks for keeping this thread going. I love seeing everyone's success and updates. I don't post much but I/m working on it!!
  8. Great job!!! You look fantastic!

  11. Great job! I was sleeved 10/20 and just starting on soft foods. Thanksgiving was definitely a head challenge. Not as much “fun”to eat. But I did allow myself one bite of my favorites, sweet potatoes and stuffing, after I ate turkey. Oh, and two bites of pumpkin pie, no crust. My willpower is still strong, so that certainty helped.
  12. I just saw this! Is it too late to join? 5’ 7” HW 293 SW 259 CW 235 GW 160
  13. I had that starting late on day two and all of day 3. Took me a few tries to find the right combo I’d nausea and spasm meds to take. I’m on day 4 now and have been able to keep everything down. So scary, especially when you know there is nothing in there to come up. Took me a day to realize it was nausea that was getting me. It does get better. I tried several different drinks too. Also helped when I got in some diluted juice.
  14. I am the 20th too! So excited and nervous.
  15. Thank you for posting this. I was planning on a sleeve and after my upper GI yesterday my doctor recommended I change to a bypass. I had my sleeve procedure scheduled already so trying to navigate the changes!
  16. I am October 20. I have looked into the sleeve multiple times over the last 4 years and finally made the decision to go for it.
