  13. I'm just now starting to fight this battle again. I quit a month before surgery and haven't looked back until...... I am 6 weeks out and I have so much more energy having lost 60 lbs and not smoking. So when the craving for a smoke popped back up,I had to stop and figure out what triggered it. Come to find out, it was cleaning...ha! I don't know how I'm going to continue cleaning my house with taking smoke breaks. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I sure did. I was in preop and started crying and told my mom amd daughter thst I wanted to leave. My mom calmly reminded me of the road I traveled to get there. And asked me to think how I would feel if I backed out now. Would I be happy. That was a dine deal. Before you know it, I was out of bed amd recovering. I have not looked back since. Meet you on the losers bench. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. It does suck. I quit on July 24th of this year. My surgery was on September 28th. I had one slip up in that time. My cravings are very minimal. The only time I think about smoking is when when my husband calls me names and hurts me. It does get easier after the surgery. In the meantime, I slept quite a bit. Drank alot of water and stayed out of stores where cigarettes were sold. I also am a member of quite a few quit apps. Quitnow has been the best one for me as there are many people old a d new at quitting available at any time during the day. Try the app. I also used the distraction games on the quit apps. The cravings only last a minute. Gotta breathe through them. I smoked for 20 years. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. I was looking up recipes to find ways to satisfy my potato chip craving. I also did thr boiled and baked potato thing. That did help. I'll let you know how I make out on the "chip " thing. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

  23. Some days are better than others with the protein and water. It seems like I can get one or the other in a day. For instance, I had 68 g of protein but only 32 oz or water. Then yesterday I had 72 oz of water but only 45 g of protein. I feel like it's too much to both in one day yet. I'm thinking it's because I'm only 4 weeks out. Doc says I should be under 200 when I go back for my 2nd post op on 9/28. Not sure I am going to be able to do it. I feel like I'll be stuck here forever which defeats the purpose of .e having the sleeve. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. Cw: 203.2 I am going back and forth between 200 and 203.2. I'm about 4 weeks out. Is this normal? I thought I'd still be losing. Especially walking close to 4.5 - 5 miles per day. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
