    Two days post op and so far the worst part is the severe gas - I've been doing lots of walking, every hour I'm up and gone so hoping gas will calm down.

      The gas was the most painful thing for me. My incisions barely hurt at all. Walking is the best solution. I think a hot shower felt great also and always made me feel better. Good luck to you.

      I had the same experience. I told my friends I felt like a Macy's thanksgiving day parade balloon. My nurse told me the same Apple1 said...walking is the best thing. I had surgery on a Monday and by that Friday I was "gassed out".
