@FluffyChix Thank you. The dishes are from the JAXX lunch box. I got it a Burglinton. They come with a water bottle and ice pack.
Since my blood pressure was low, I was informed to increase my salt intake. I love Olives so I had 21 for the day.
Lol the condom is ranch in a sandwich bag. I cut a small hole at the bottom to control the amount I use.

No, I didn't figure you had done anything wrong. [Hugs]
If things are too messed up with your current doctor, maybe shop around for another one?
You SHOULD love yourself, no matter what! Eventually you'll get your procedure done, and you'll lose some weight. But the real work begins when the scale stops moving, and you will need a core of steel to make it through and be successful long term.
All these trials you face today are strengthening you (even if it doesn't feel that way right now). You are working your way to become a strong, independent, woman that is tough as nails!

Just keep on trying, maybe it can be fixed soon?
Even if surgery is a while away, what else are you going to do? Whether you get surgery next week or next year, it'll still be better than where you'll be two years from now if you simply give up.
Surgery is a long-term decision. Kinda like marriage. If your fiancé couldn't marry you for an extra week or year, would you just break off the whole thing?
I know it's disappointing. Hopefully it can get fixed soon.

When you move out into the woods and hunt/fish/forage, then I give you permission to stop "tracking".. oh, but weight ( )... how do you catch wild game, without tracking??
Humans have tracked all throughout history, why stop now?
I worked in the dietary department of my local hospital 14 years ago. We counted everything on the patients' trays. Scoops measured serving sizes. Number of carbohydrate servings were limited for diabetic patients, etc. etc. If a hospital measures out food for everyone, why shouldn't we do that at home? (Most people lose some weight in the hospital.. there's a reason for that, beyond illness!).
I got reprimanded at my support meeting for only eating 1100-ish calories a day at 6 months out. Not sure how many they think I SHOULD be eating, but that's how I'm able to continue losing weight! Once I hit maintenance it'll go up.

Tracking and limiting carbs have been the keys to my success. And I've lost 217 pounds and am at goal one year post-op after starting at nearly 400 pounds. I'd tell them to bite me and do what you know works for you.

We celebrated tonight by going to a very nice Italian restaurant. I had a plate full of mussels, a small side salad, and a glass of white wine. Finished the wine and mussels, and about 1/3 of the salad. Oh man, first wine postop, and did it hit me big time! Stumbling around like a drunken slob, lightweight to be sure!! First time I'd tried mussels as well, and they were SOOOO good!!!! The first time I tried fresh bread postop, had half a small piece, and nope, really didn't go well. Tasted awesome, but is way too heavy. Wine washed it outa the tummy in short order, leaving room for the other stuff. (If you can't tell, wine is still affecting me somewhat, so sorry about any confusing stuff.. lol!)

Yup.. year I was born Last of the generation x-ers.
How to change weight status is by scrolling down to the bottom of most pages, where it says "together we have lost ten zillion pounds".. there is a spot for your starting weight and current weight... just fill that in correctly, and you'll be golden!

We have a Six Flags fairly close to us and my family has always had season passes, so my kids could go. I would just walk around because I haven't been able to fit on a Roller Coaster since 1999. It has always been my goal through every incarnation of weight loss attempts. My vsg was 10/26. I tried to ride the Batman two weeks before Christmas...no go. I was so defeated. The good news is that I have been on that mo fo at least 10 times this summer. Your time is coming.

FluffyChix reacted to blizair09 in The waiting is the hardest part... i am having a bit of luck losing during this 6 mon
I lost 99 pounds (from 397 to 298) during my six month pre-op diet program. It was the best thing that happened to me. I completely re-defined my relationship with food before the surgery, and lost so much weight that post-op life was much, much easier. If you are losing, keep at it. You will thank yourself later for the hard work on the front end. Even now at 6'0", 185 pounds, I still think that if I hadn't done all of the pre-op work, I'd be at 285. It always makes me extra thankful for taking that approach.

The waiting is so hard. I have a 4month supervised diet for qualification (3mos + initial intake). My doc started thyroid meds + B1 supplementation and I'm losing so much easier now--like a normal person. BUT! I've never been able to reach goal on my own or maintain. So I have this demon on my shoulder saying, but you're now on meds...should you give it one more shot?? So complicated the waiting!
