  1. I agree, I too am terrified, terrified of the surgery and terrified of not doing the surgery. I am worried about the after, can I do this? Obviously I didn't do well with weight loss programs or I wouldn't be here so I really hope something clicks to make me realize I can do this. I think you have kids that you want to be around for, not to mention all those important events as the get older, although this is for you, you are doing it for a better life which will be better for them. And like all us moms out there our kids are a huge part of our life. My program actually has support group meetings for just these thoughts. You can do it! 2. I am still debating to tell or not and really don't want to tell everyone. My husband and best friend know and are very supportive. Your stories help greatly so I know I can do this without sharing with my coworkers. Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 7 using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I realize we are making lifestyle changes, but it seems like in those first couple of weeks you won't be able to do anything since you will be concentrating on the protein shakes and liquid intake. Do you find that you can actually do things, walk, be productive? Or is it more resting all the time?
  4. Sounds like you are on the right track, thank you for sharing, this is a huge help to us newbies!
  5. Good luck, I hope all is well! Thank you for sharing your fears! Its helps!
  6. I also have Anthem and was told 6 months. Then about a month to clear me for surgery. Hope you are getting somewhere, insurance is a tough business!
