Inspirational! You did an AMAZING job!

I’m a little over 3 months out and I didn’t have a problem with pulled pork. I ate just the pulled pork, not the bun.

I had a cassette tape called “Reach” (yes, I am over 60). I loved the exercises. Sadly the tape is long gone and I wish he would revive that program.

I use chapstick throughout the day. When my lips get really bad, I use Mary Kay lip scrub, followed my Mary Kay lip balm. They are awesome products!

I clearly see a dramatic difference! Awesome!

I took advantage of the great sale at Sam’s Club and picked up a box of the Peaches and Cream - love it! I agree with you FluffyChix - it is not as rich as the other flavors, but I love the peach flavor. It doesn’t seem as sweet as the others. I also prefer Protein 2O over the Premier clear Protein Drink. It only has 15 grams of protein, but it is not as sweet as the Premier.

I've walked since surgery and plan to do a step workout class for the first time since surgery( pretty nervous). I started out with following the diet stages by the book but this past week I've honesty cheated quite a few times. I find myself falling into old habits and I have to do a self reminder of why I made such a drastic decision for myself as surgery to only sabotage myself. I will do better for myself. Has anyone else had the same struggles?
Wow! We have similar stats. My surgery was 1/2/18. My current weight is 187. How far do you walk daily? I’ve only managed 3 miles every other day. I am thinking my hypothyroidism is preventing me from losing like you have. I was 229 before liquid diet, 209 on day of surgery. -
Congratulations!

I’m wondering whether anyone else in this forum suffers from this issue.......I had my surgery on 1/2/18 and haven’t really had any issues except this one. I try to walk at least 3 miles every other day. I don’t walk every day because I have degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and lupus and I need a “rest” day because of pain. My problem is that on the days I walk, about 30-60 minutes after I return home, I start getting really bad abdominal cramping and have to . It starts out as a normal BM, but then I start having diarrhea. Sometimes I throw up because of the abdominal cramping. I know it’s not anything I am eating because I generally don’t eat pre-walk. After this happens, I generally feel fine for the rest of the day and there are no other episodes of abdominal cramping or diarrhea. I am scheduled to see my team in two weeks and I will be bringing this up with them, but I am just curious if anyone else has this happen. I am afraid that this will be my new “norm” since having the sleeve. Thank you.

That was also a concern of mine pre-op, but I was worried for no reason at all. The liquid diet will shrink your liver if you follow the protocol. Think positive thoughts and good luck to you! You’ve got this!!!!
