    Tomorrow!!!!

Good luck! I am going in just across the river from you in NYC on Friday. I know you will do great!
  2. ...yoga, who knew that was the key all along! Sigh....
  3. ...wow, that's impressive! I am not sure I would have been able to keep a straight face
  4. ..there are so many people out there that don't know their head from their "you know what" haha. Im glad to hear you have such good support and I hope you are feeling fantastic.
  5. ...it amazes me that people think we are doing this for a quick and easy fix ;(
  6. THANK YOU! Its good to know that there is a lot of love out there for what we are doing, once we get passed the few negative ones that don't understand, don't agree or can't get passed their own issues to be supportive! I am getting sleeved Friday. I hope to be as happy and secure as you soon!!!! Good luck
  7. ...its worse than that, METS and JETS. I guess I just like to cry a lot
  8. ...some days I can't even with people! Good for you for trying to save your life. I swear, someone said "Anesthesia is no joke" , I responded with "So is heart failure for carrying around an extra 100 lbs" That shut them down for a little while anyway. SMH.
  9. ...oh man, this just may be the pre-op diet talking - but it would be so hard for me not to say... "you're not stupid but you're not smart either" right back at 'em
  10. I literally can't wait to use that line, ill try to do it while she is chowing down on some fried potato [emoji4]
  11. Thank you! That made me laugh. The worst part, on day 9 of this pre-op diet- now all I can think of is fries lol
  12. Your sister has the right plan, I got guilted into it by my husband because we have two small kids and she is going to "help" while I recover. I honestly have told 4 people in total and not sure when I'll be ready to share beyond that -if ever. The way I look at, people judge me bc I am fat, they'll judge me bc I had to loose so much weight in the first place, they'll judge me for being a mets fan...and the list goes on and on. Right now, I'm just worried about how I judge me- the rest will figure itself out ...oh and my MIL is un invited to thanksgiving hahaha
  13. ... Totally gotta love all the "love" [emoji1304] it's a good thing we can rise above it (well- I try anyway!!')

    Just been Sleeved

THANK YOU. I am starting to get so nervous. The pre-op diet has me so weak and emotional, I know its the right decision for me and my kids. Iits so awesome you are down so much already and only one week out feel good!!! I love to hear that. Congrats!!!
  16. Missy161 - Your post gives me hope...I am getting sleeved Friday and I've survived a few c-sections and gall bladder surgery! I hope I am as lucky as you Thanks for the hope!

    Just been Sleeved

I'm getting sleeved Friday....starting to get nervous but ready to be on my way. I hope you are feeling great
  18. I like so many of you will be starting on the road of a healthier me- my sleeve surgery is set for 28-Jul. I've begun the "fun" process of withdrawing from all the bad things that I ate and drink to make myself feel better. Now the hard work begins. Although I am so excited to make these long over due changes, I find my excitement is turning to nervousness (aka W T F am I doing...) but my course remains unchanged - steam rolling on to the new and healthier me. As I am getting ready (both physically and mentally) - I was hoping I could lean on this group for their experience. Was there anything you weren't prepared for the first few weeks after surgery and knowing what you know now - would you do anything differently? How long did it take for you to feel "normal" again? Any thoughts would be so appreciated -Allison
  19. ...thanks Mitch, thats good to know! I guess it will be a struggle to stay hydrated for a while Good luck Keenikwe! I hope everything goes well for your surgery and BEYOND!
  20. Thanks Walker75 It looks like you are fresh out of surgery and I hope you are doing great. I guess its a good sign that you would still do it again!! That's an excellent tip about cleaning out the pantry. I have a 2 and 3 year old and have already made my husband eat or throw out all of the kids stuff that would appeal to me...haha Hope you are feeling great!
