  3. My surgeon asked me my goal and then together we agreed on a more realistic. My original goal he felt was to drastic for my Height and build. He does not believe everyone 5'5" should by 135 for example.
  4. Thanks for all your comments. This week has been so much better able to tolerate the full 4oz meal as prescribed. Guess my. Icu is just slow to respond.

  6. No decrease in the amount it's been like that since they introduced eggs. Yogurt and cottage cheese are fine and I measure out around 3 ounces for those. I feel like I'm a being paranoid but really don't know.
  7. I am 9 weeks post-op and having the hardest time eating a small meal. Including one egg! Like half of a scrambled egg and I'm done. Has anyone else encountered this or should I contact my doctor?
  8. my nutritionist and surgeon both say no drinking until a year out because of empty calories. They suggest getting to your goal weight, but to each his own.
  9. I watched it occasionally before my surgery and now I watch it religiously. For me it helps remind me I'm not the only one struggling.
  10. Hello, 8 was sleeved in June and I was wondering who has the best scale? Mine is not reliable, I mean it I weigh one day it says one thing and the next 10 min it's a 10 pound difference.
  11. I hope you have a support system to help you cope. Seek out a support group in your area, my surgeon hosts one so start there with yours. He also talks about those kinds of issues. Do not let that discourage you it is time for you to have a new life starting with you!
  12. I had my VS June 12 and week 3 was told not to sip but take big gulps by my surgeon. Usually is uncomfortable the first one but if I do it twice an hour I'm ok.

  15. I keep seeing protein coffee, what is it and where can i find it?
  16. I am 4 weeks post op and am having a hard time with the protein drinks and eating. I get full off is just a few sips or bits. According to my plan I should have 4-ounces per hour. How do any of you manage?
