Hi again! I am 2 days post op and had questions with cramping. When I sip, it will cramp and cramp. Even several minutes later. Is that normal? I havemt even tried Jello or anything elsr because I dont want to get sick! Help!

Is it supposed to hurt a little when you sip on water/liquids? I was sleeved on 9/1 and syoer struggling with liquids.

I can sip Water, but it makes me burp and it's kind of painful. Is that normal?

I am 2 days pre-surgury and on the 2 week liquid diet. I would say buy as you go. I bought several different flavors of sugar free jell-o, and after the first 3 days (when I was detoxing from sugar) some of them don't taste that great, and some taste even better. That is weird, I know....

I can say that Liptons noodle Soup has saved me! I drain out all the noodles, but that broth tastes so much better to me than just plain broth.

What all can you have on the liquid preop diet? I am doing band to revision and still waiting to hear from insurance. But is it Clear Liquids? Any liquids?

Hi there! I am meeting with the surgeon this week about going from the band to the sleeve. But I got to thinking the other day - how does drinking with the sleeve work? With the band it passes through and goes into the "normal" stomach. but when you only have a stomach the size of the banana, how does that work? Does it take it forever to empty out of your stomach? If you wait that hour after you eat before you drink, does it hurt still like it does with the band? Tell me everything!

So do they leave that bigger part of the stomach in your body? Or remove it?

I am considering a revision from band to sleeve, and had a few questions.

Does anyone feel comfortable telling me what the self pay price was? I have United Heath Care, amd bariatric isnt covered.

I just started a new job 2 weeks ago and can't take 2 weeks off. I bet I could work from home....? Do you think I would feel up to it?

With the band you cant eat certain things or you will throw up. Is it the same with the sleeve? I am scared because its permanent, but HAVE to get this weight off again!
