Would love to know if there is a support group for sleevers near me. I am 9 weeks post op from being sleeved in Mexico and would love some local support and to meet other sleevers near me.

My husband is accompanying me and is staying at the Grand Hotel (two towers). The hospital/clinic is in the next tower from the hotel so very convenient. Once I'm discharged 2 days later I will spend 2 nights with him before going home. That's what they recommended and I feel comfortable with that.

I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Pompa at LIMARP on August 24th in Tijiauna. I am excited but nervous at the same time. Nice to have this forum to chat with others who are going through the same thing.

Anyone know if you can claim gastric sleeve as a medical expense if you travel to Mexico for it?
