Cleaning up diet Pre Surgery
GreenTealael replied to DareMightyThings's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I removed additional sugar. Naturally sweet things like fruit I ate occasional but I gave up any sugar that I had to add my myself and switched over to a substitute (stevia). It was tough at first but it helped to practice it for a longer period instead of fighting against it because it was too sudden. -

FYI: At only a month post op, not many of us are allowed to eat sandwiches (according to post op diet plans) You are still early out so there’s a chance your restrictions with kick in eventually, or rather you’ll recognize what it feels like sooner Don’t give up! -
Passed My Psych Evaluation
GreenTealael replied to DareMightyThings's topic in Insurance & Financing
Insurance company timelines are all over the place when it comes to approvals. I think the normal length seems to be 2-4 weeks after submitting. After about 2 week I probably would call insurance directly to check but that’s because I’m impatient 😂 -
Congratulations, amazing job!

I had to look this up! Air fryers cook with circular heated air, toaster ovens use more direct heat https://inductionpros.com/differences-between-an-air-fryer-and-a-toaster-oven/ -

You will probably lose volume in that area (and all over) after WLS. That does unfortunately seem to always translate to some degree of loose skin. However a mons lift/reduction during plastics can fix it so don’t worry about it too much.

Proceed with caution on Dating sites. I think that people will test many boundaries/limits because there are very few real world repercussions for dishonesty. Also, looks seem to matter the most on apps that are basically 5 second interviews. That being said I met my BF on a dating site (post WLS & pre plastics) Good luck! ❤️

I light candles when cooking fish. No odors after. I also like crispy fish skin if I scale it properly and on whole fish (head and all) -
