Finally remembered to log a meal (in the middle of eating)! It feels like a burden even though it’s easy 🤦🏾‍♀️ Egg in a basket iDK what I’ll do if they stop making this bread. It’s so good and basically all fiber.

One underrated tip I was given: Add more fiber. I was told to try to get at least the daily value (28g I think). I was nowhere close to it. So now I use clear unflavored fiber supplements that I can add to drinks because getting enough fiber from food alone can be challenging. Weight loss with the ESG tends to be slower and lower. If you are still having a very low rate of weight loss (lower that expected by your surgeon) by the next surgeon appointment, please express your concerns and don’t hide the true weigh loss amount. If you still have lingering concerns request an endoscopy to check the suturing.

Yes. I have telehealth appointment. I like to check in and see how I’m doing because some changes are expected at different year marks (possible regain, etc) Also I can ask questions I really want the answers to (like do I still have to separate food and drinks, etc.) and discuss if things I’ve noticed are normal.

Sorry for your experience. But I do think it’s helpful that you highlighted some of the serious questions about preparedness to consider before surgery. Hopefully all goes well for you.
