First time in MONTHS really good

June 17 vs March 18 4.5 months post op

I had a friend who was recommended by her doctor not to have surgery because she had too many medical issues going on at the same time. She was told that first they should focus on getting her healthy and then healthy enough to even survive a surgery of this type. I never even considered that someone could be denied by a surgeon for being too sick... IMHO people should do it when both mentally and medically ready. That said, absolutely no major regrets on my end. Living my life like normal 4 months post op Good luck.

Had too many carbs in Rome, too many because I could barely eat any of the protein sources to thank goodness I'm back to regular foods thanks to the diversity in Paris

It really is all about pasta and bread there... Had my fill ( which wasn't much ) now I'm ready for my regular diet again but can't find protein shakes out here... Thanks I plan to !

Don't stress too much, the surgeons office probably deals with that kind of thing all of the time. You did your part and they will do theirs. Good luck!

Oh I do focus on myselfWhich is why I don't have this issue And especially why I don't make rude comments on the Internet And why I don't try to silence / bully others with opinions I don't agree with

In all honesty the original poster should just focus on herself, why worry about what others are saying about themselves? Has NOTHING to do with you...

It's possible they are going through a few personnel changes and you caught them at an awkward time

I never felt fat either I was completely comfortable even at my highest weight. In fact I still pretty much feel the same except I don't get tired from walking fast or upstairs etc Strangest things ... our brains

Parents just don't understand , and your are forever their baby who they never want anything to happen to you especially since theses surgeries are still being touted as an elective surgery in the court of public approval. I didn't tell my. Mother because I didn't want to worry her.

Only told two people because they were friends I chose as medical proxies No one else business in my book

I was showering by day 2 post op,prepping my own food by day 4 post op, driving by day 7 post op (still in a lot of pain) started to feel completely better by day 14 post op, forget that I have ever had surgery until I eat lol by 4 months post op
