    Hair Loss

Shedding would (and has to a very limited amount occurred- look at my profile pic to see thinning at hair line, I'll live) simply deposit into the loc itself, all hairs are self contained, but the danger of that is that the entire section would just pop off when enough hair has fallen out leaving very noticeable bald spots. I decided to go super low manipulation of my hair , it been about a year now ( 2 months prior to surgery + 8 months post op ) in efforts to preserve my hair. I've been growing it in this style for 20 yrs and didn't want to start over. So when I say I've been researching, I mean it.VSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 167

    Anyone try bananas? When?

Ask your Team, they were in my plan from stage 3 or pureed/semisolids (1 month), but I didn't try them until about 3 months, didn't like them, then again now at 8 months in smoothiesVSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 167

    Should I be offended?!

My surgeon attends and gives lectures, trains surgeons under him , does other types of surgeries, etc. I see his Bariatric PA & NUT. I was completely aware of the process. I like it because he can focus on skill building. But ... as soon as he heard I was going to Italy and France a few months ago he magically appeared to talk lol VSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 167

    Pre-op diet question. Please help!

I'm curious, what kind of food, can you show us? But in the end you have to learn to consult your team for changes not this site, or you'll be here after surgery looking for alternatives to your plan, meds, etc. Instead of going where you should... If you are going to trust your team with your life, trust them. VSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 167

    Band removal after 10 years

There's a TON of people on the site who are revisions from band to sleeve or RNY. Give it a quick search. I believe Even the site's creator is making the switch. They all appear to be MUCH HAPPIER. safe journey VSG2017 HW 249 SW 238 CW 167

    Weight Gain

Congrats on your success so far... Contact your team that handled your surgery if possible and form a plan. Return to nutritional visit if you can, support group if available, then pull out your binder /original plan and see where you are. While at a support group a few weeks ago the topic was regain and how to manage it, these were some of the questions the NUT told everyone to pay attention to if fighting regain: How far have you drifted? What was the original weight goal (realistically)? Did you change anything to cause the weight gain? Any life changes (health, job, relationships, etc)? Can you go back to basics (protein and vegetables only to test for weight loss ) or reset for a week? What is your protein intake? What is your vegetables /fruit intake? What is your carb intake? Do you have hidden calories (too much sugars, carbs, condiments, slider foods) ? Are you drinking your calories ( juice, soda alcohol) ? What is your Water/zero cal fluid intake ? Safe journey again!
