    It's totally individualized results... I don't consume alcohol so I can't help you there Generally you'll want to follow your post surgical plan to the letter and discuss any modifications to it with your team, but really wait until after surgery to consider the all of the details...

    My surgery was perfection, not a single complication, i lost about 45-50lbs so now I had increased energy, always took vitamins, exceed my hydration goals, met my protein goals.. I planned my vacation before I thought about surgery, so at 4 months post op I met with my NUT to discuss the plan for my vacation eating, etc. Because I knew there would be things off plan I wanted. They worked with me. It was great, no problems whatsoever. Keep your team in the loop, focus on great healing prior and you should be ok.

    This depends heavily on how you react to surgery, so no one can predict that. However, at 4 months post op I was on vacation like surgery never happened...

  7. Yay! But I have questions about thin soups w/ vegetables or meat: I feel like I'm eating and drinking at the same time so I mostly ignore the liquid.. What does everyone think/do?
  8. It does curb hunger, when I was on the 20:4 protocol I preferred to just not eat...
  9. This is literally the easiest to do, 5 minutes if you can believe it I only have to prep the avocado by cutting it! Hahaha, y'all know I'm food lazy ( but id happily make Ayurvedic golden milk by the book, or 100 stage ceremonial matcha... I clearly have issues)
  10. Breaking the fast meal: I decided to have "almost sushi" today, and nutter puffs (so good) Pouched salmon, avocado, hempseed, Nori sheets, Bragg's aminos, spices, brown mustard Makes 6, I ate 3 (but the 2 ends first which were empty-ish -handrolled imperfections)

  14. Hmm, idk I've never taken it for sleep issues, I'm either like a rock or easily awakened. No pattern whatsoever.

It was both but definitely more golden when the foam cleared...lol That's the traditional Ayurvedic way to make a paste first because heat unlocks the benefits of curcumin, but these day people make it like instant tea, coffee or hot chocolate. I boil water and make a quick paste first, then add scorched milk and other ingredients But I also drink raw juiced tumeric shots from the fresh root, and those were by far the most effective I've used Also turmeric is in all the dishes I cook

  17. I don't think so , a lot of recipes use goat and cow's milk but I've never seen the ingredients on Fairlife. I'd try to keep things as pure as possible though

Also I forget to tell everyone the other types of drinks I sometimes have, that is a golden green milk (tumeric, matcha, cayenne pepper, water, almond milk, stevia, dash of SF french vanilla) Soooooo good if you've ever had golden milk... hot or iced, amazing! 47 cals... Like 2g carbs but sadly only 2g protein. But tumeric and Matcha together... The benefits

    Returned to work too soon?

    Hi, get a travel coffee cup with a really good lid & handle. Use it for all of your liquids. Then don't let it leave your hands. At All. You can do this! It gets better with time, B vitamins, protein shakes, proper hydration... Oh and start an "Internship" where students do alot of the grunt work for you... Safe Journey!

    Same! worse is apparently I have a thigh gap, I was too big before to ever see it but now... I think I need a thigh lift... I'm about to start a GoFundMe lol
