    How to Start Meal Prepping After Bariatric Surgery

    I completely enjoy meal prepping because I'm am lazy and like instant things. I do, however, struggle to find containers that I want to reuse more than just a few times. I've tried them all. The plastic ones seem to absorb flavors/odors. The glass ones are to fragile or heavy. The metal ones leave a flavor to the food. I'm being neurotic, I know. Any suggestions?

    Damn sorry that this is happening to you. Since fall is rolling around there will be great soup everywhere. I hope that helps ease your mind about extended liquids. Biggest bonus of all, you are going to lose a ton more than normal because stalls usually happens when you switch to solids. Chin up. Don't let your crown fall.

    Click bait!!! (Not really) This post is about simplification. I'm almost a year post op and the further out I get, the more I refine what I'm doing. (I feel like at this point I should be searching for a sugar daddy instead of sugar content but that's another post...) How have you ordered your life to make the entire process easier - for loss and maintenance phases? Are you still struggling to find balance? Prefer complexity to simplicity? Eventually I want it to be so easy and effortless that I just don't think about it anymore. You know, lifestyle. Drop some tips below that are really working for you!
  15. Your meals look untouched as usual lol but I'll give you my secret for when I buy a bag of something (it's always nuts who am I kidding) that's too large for me: A. I usually eat it while walking B. I pour most of it out without looking so whatever is left is what I can have (And all of the squirrels, racoons and possums think I'm Cinderella) So I win! The scale doesn't own you!!!! Hawaii does lol

  18. Thank you!!! You would not believe that I was able to get that jacket for ...$7!!! Regular size clothes sale prices blow my mind sometimes... No doc today, that's next week, this is just the labs, I expect to be deficient in everything lol like usual (pre and post surg)
  19. Post labs breakfast lol did get a quick weight here at the hospital (but can't trust it because it's a dry fasting weight) 159. But it's the general range of 160 so I'm good. I think 160 is my set point and I will have to work to move past it. I'm *lazy* so the only work I'm will to do is IF and walking. Lol. I'm not really lazy but I can't gym as much as I hoped. It causes more issues than good often so it sets me back health wise. This is a bummer because I locked myself into a contract. Sigh. I really hoped instantly the more weight I lost my health issue would resolve but it didn't. This isn't a weightloss deterrent for me. It simply means I have to focus less on this for a while. So I will effortlessly slip into maintenance soon with IF as a lifestyle. Now i have to focus on some other things...That's the plan.
  20. I can’t handle super sweet things like that! Someone brought cider donuts to work for someone’s birthday and I broke off a tiny piece (like 1/6 of a donut) to try... it didn’t taste as good as I’d imagined and I felt a little sick after. Glad I only tried a little! Me either, I'd die... literally
  21. I enjoy being thin, even though I did this journey for a medical emergency...
  22. I make it kind of like hot cocoa, when in a hurry, otherwise I mix it with golden milk, or into an iced drink
  23. Sorry for all the stressors!!! Rant away! Free group therapy... And please believe us, you can drop lbs quick fast with IF whenever you want... So no stress there either, it's a backup plan!
