  1. Andddddddd Issa liquid salad: water, matcha, spinach, avocado, pineapple, lemon, stevia, macadamia oil (Lol oh come on y'all knew one was destined to appear sooner or later)
  2. Stalls, Everyone's doing them... You should too. joking. I stalled at 1 month out for about a month. It happens. If your habits are good don't stress. Some of us stall often, our bodies like to take little breaks. It's cool, because it's a marathon not a race. And it all adds up in the end.

    Setting HEALTHY & REALISTIC goals

My team was (still is) super relaxed about end goals if you are not presenting with red flags to them. They never really gave me one at the start of my journey. We discussed me getting healthy as the goal and focused on that. So when I became really active on BP I forgot about that and started going crazy a little setting up goals based on mostly fear of regain, all the what ifs, etc. Then spoke with my team and tried to convince them I needed to be 120lbs so when I regain I will be at my goal, they looked dumbfounded and said "you're planning your regain? I said everyone regains, right? They were like: No. It's not like you necessarily have to plan for, it you have to plan against it." So I decided to trust what they wanted for me. A healthy range that my body will chose without a lot of struggle. I suspect I'm beginning to crossover to maintenance, so now I will begin that journey. I say first and foremost chase your personal goals (I had none lol), but also trust your team and body to steer you right. That was long in the tooth, sheesh Sorry.

Wake and drink. Can't eat if you drink.
  8. Thanks!!! Time to start considering/working on my second year goals... I think I should be fine for maintenance, I'm not going to start adding things into my diet that weren't already there, and IF is a serious tool. I'm going to continue working on BF and muscle %, toning, flexibility, etc. Just not actively trying to lose more.
  9. I'm still here too!!! Nothing to report, oh I am up to 157 (cycle soon, expected) still IF-ing except the weekend. The usual... But I think I'm in maintenance now so you won't be hearing weight loss related updates (not that there were many lol) it's just lifestyle for me now.

    Sugar intake

Hi, Here are snapshots of 2 days for me. A regular day and a menstrual cycle prep day (I need to eat more) My sugar content comes almost entirely from fruit and vegetables. No added sugars. ( BTW I'm lazy so I load all my meals under breakfast)
  16. That's why there are nearly universal rules set up. Portion size (1/4 cup- 1/2 cup servings) and time limits (only eating within a 30 min window) as fail safes for when the sleeve does not prompt you to stop. How are you with those things? If you have materials from the start of the journey go through those and see what you can start to reintroduce while you wait for testing and results. Alcohol has a lot of calories. Since you may never feel any restrictions from liquids you can introduce a lot more calories into your diet than you can metabolize effectively eating (or drinking) around the surgery. But the test will confirm all things.
  17. I going to be super honest with you. I feel legitimate hunger and *can* eat like I have zero restriction. It's called eating around your sleeve, and my surgeon did an amazing job. I don't do it because I'd never lose weight. You can totally eat around your sleeve and feel real hunger and still have a perfect tool. I don't know if that was ever fully explained to you but that's in the past. Try to focus on how you can move forward, succeed within your current framework and advocate for yourself ( maybe with a new team) Don't go crazy on conspiracy theories until you have proof. Try to concentrate on the changes you can make, things you can control.

    Coffee with Cream

Hi I'm not a DS'er, but I am a coffee snop so you can take this with a grain of salt: You should check with your team first. Starbucks coffee is highly caffeinated and you may increase your caffeine dependency because of it. It's not automatically an equal playing field, the caffeine in coffee vs soda. The cream maybe more of a personal tolerance issue, you seemed to handle it fine however you may need to come up with a system to estimate/calculate how much you are using. It's has alot of fat and calories depending on type (regular vs fat free, etc)
  19. My phone and autocorrect hates me *Here's *I can't, no I refuse
  20. I'll throw my hat in the ring: I'm not high or low carb. I'm more middle of the road. He's why: I eat mostly plant sources (carbs) some meat, some dairy. I can't eat most animal proteins, and the ones I can just don't behave well so I have to limit them. I also cannot eat rice pasta and bread and lose weight. But my goal is not zero. Eventually my health has to take precedence over the mania of weightloss and I will need to begin maintenance. I cant, refuse to eat animal proteins all day long. It's not going to work for me long term. My team knew this when we started together and has backed me 💯 There are alternate paths. Do what will work for you and revise if it doesn't. I want everyone to be successful and happy long term.
