    Dating

OMFG DUMPING while on a date. I just wanted to cry. Finally went on a date again . Met someone fantastic, decided on sushi, but most sushi will literally kill me so I had tempura vegetables and scallion pancakes. Dumping. I had to keep making odd excuses why I need to run to the restroom. They mostly centred around being super hydrated but I was very unfocused. I hope it wasn't super noticable, but I'm sure it was...😥 I hope he wants to go out again. I am just going to order water, coffee or tea.

Oh no, sorry I just saw this! Water will vary depending upon batter consistency. Usually just enough to get it "loose" enough, ( adding tsp by tsp as needed) I don't know how else to describe it. The thinker the batter the fudgier , the thinner the more cake like... Sorry for the late response I take cyber Sabbaticals...

Protein brownies (for breakfast subscriptions) 1 banana, 1 egg, 3tbsp chia seeds, 1tsp oil of your choice, 100g protein powder of your choice, 4 tbsp cacao powder, 2 tsp baking powder, dash of sugar sub of your choice, pinch of salt, *optional : nuts,1 tsp powdered psyllium husk (fiber) the key to making this behave like there is flour in it is blending the egg banana water mixture first, then add baking powder to the blender, lastly hand folding the rest of the ingredients in. 10 equal bars = 10 grams of protein (cals may vary depending on individual ingredients used) (Please no lawsuits for uneven protein distribution 😂)
  6. *Ahem* Bariatric Crap I Eat At My Desk..
  7. But you could totally prep smoothies freezer bags, I do it in the summer so my kids can just add water to the blender and the contents of the Ziploc and not bother me about knives... 😎
  8. Sooo pretty! Now this deserves a blog... Mean while I'm making protein brownies from scratch (hoping that don't fall in the oven)
  9. I haven't bought a whole fresh pineapple in a while (I usually buy frozen fruit- lasts/lazy) I bet it would be a lot better! IDK about the macros because it would vary by size and weight of the amount you use... Oh. So. Lazy... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  10. Canned, left over from when my kids wanted to make pineapple upside down cake and never did lol, maybe next I will move on to the peaches I bought to make peach crisp for a friend (but never happened lol) Trying to be a good little minimalist and use everything I buy before I buy new things...
  11. I used exactly 1 ring of pineapple 30 cals/ 7.5 carb/6.5 sugar in 18 oz of water ( with other stuff of course)

    18 months post op

The only problem with this logic is the you *might* be possibly teetering close to the edge of recurrence of health issues at that range. But I'm not a doctor. What does your team think? Instead of BMI or a certain look, maybe check out what weight range puts you out of the path of XYZ. (Unsolicited advice, I know. Im Sorry. I used to think I had a certain body type as an AA that I'm finding out I don't have, possible never did. So I'm no longer relying solely on a certain look as an indicator of health. YMMV 😊)

    I’m SCARED!! Stalling after 1 month Post-op?!?

Stalls, Everyone's doing them... You should too. joking. I stalled at 1 month out for about a month. It happens. If your habits are good don't stress. Some of us stall often, our bodies like to take little breaks. It's cool, because it's a marathon not a race. And it all adds up in the end.

    Setting HEALTHY & REALISTIC goals

My team was (still is) super relaxed about end goals if you are not presenting with red flags to them. They never really gave me one at the start of my journey. We discussed me getting healthy as the goal and focused on that. So when I became really active on BP I forgot about that and started going crazy a little setting up goals based on mostly fear of regain, all the what ifs, etc. Then spoke with my team and tried to convince them I needed to be 120lbs so when I regain I will be at my goal, they looked dumbfounded and said "you're planning your regain? I said everyone regains, right? They were like: No. It's not like you necessarily have to plan for, it you have to plan against it." So I decided to trust what they wanted for me. A healthy range that my body will chose without a lot of struggle. I suspect I'm beginning to crossover to maintenance, so now I will begin that journey. I say first and foremost chase your personal goals (I had none lol), but also trust your team and body to steer you right. That was long in the tooth, sheesh Sorry.
