Yep mostly because animal proteins like to stick around longer than needed . So I have to force them out... I'm glad I decided to get a scale for maintenance only, I would have gone crazy in losing phase trying to figure out a pattern based on...

I fluctuate any way but there was a Small jump, couldn't tell the amount it was before I got a scale but it couldn't feel it, after a cleaner diet and IF I went back down, then up and down daily depending on sodium and carbs. Which is why I won't worry about the scale too much, just how I feel and look. I have diastasis of the recti ( I think that's what it's called) so my abdominal area will always be a tale tell sign for me.

Check your sodium intake. Fiber intake bowel movements, and try adding much more fluids if you can manage it. Safe Journey!

Chewable papaya enzymes worked for me when I had the GERD of a lifetime while pregnant. I ran it past my Team/ NUT and they thought it was fine to try these days as well.

Totally almost forgot: I got roped into eating lasagna (vegetarian, it was made for me as a surprise), but only had the filling of ricotta and vegetables. Didn't touch a noodle. Flexibility=1/Peer pressure=0

Perhaps as a precursor, clean out your diet completely. That may be enough to get the ball rolling and ease the transition into Keto. Keto is strict but manageable if you really want to do it. Initially, many people feel withdrawl and flu like symptoms, so be prepared for that. Other than the excess/higher fat consumption and lower protein intake, its strikingly similar to the diet directly after WLS. You can do it! Cheering you on!
