Egg prices in my area are back to normal. I think I paid $1.50 USD for non specialty eggs a week ago. I’ve resigned myself to only buy fruit on sale/promotion. Somethings I cut and immediately freeze like pineapple. Fruit has been going bad too quickly imho. -

I never try to cut the calories on homemade foods because when I cook it’s usually so bare bones (I even added olive oil to this recipe). However, I’m always completely shocked when I calorie check the foods after I eat them 😂. -

OMG are we all eating the same things? Today I had eggs (egg and cheese on a tortilla) for the first time in a long while. I thing the surreal egg prices of a few months ago turned me off of them. -

the difference is definitely about the fat content (I believe it was 85/15 but I don’t generally worry about fat content) -

Semi Homemade mushroom calzone & garlic knots (store bought dough). The calzone wasn’t for me but I had about 5 garlic knots with 3 meatballs from the huge batch I made.
