I like Crazy Richard's PB no added sugar, just peanuts (incase sugar affects you poorly) https://www.crazyrichards.com/product/creamy-peanut-butter/ My body fat is around 27 (measured from a couple of months ago) @ms.sss your carbs are still (keto level?) low, you may continue to lose with those macros @sillykitty during my drop from the 170s to the 150s my looks fell apart too 😥 when i got down to 150 i looked absolutely gaunt. I look decent at 155, I'm still mad i can't spot target weightloss @Healthy_life2 thanks for the meal plans... I am totally interested in switching things up a little

GreenTealael replied to DanieHall's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Perhaps trying a warm compress on forehead, massage the sinuses and temples, stretching (the areas you safely can), stay well hydrated (electrolytes) & if things continue to devolve notify your Team immediately Good Luck and Congrats 💙 -
Surgery for illness instead of weight loss - Gastroparesis
GreenTealael replied to Chellesy's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
That depends entirely on your sugeon and insurance. At a BMI of almost 40 you are considered obese not overweight. Whether you have it for one reason or another, weight and BMI will be used in your file and hard to ignore by a Bariatric surgeon. But this may be to your advantage when trying to get approval from insurance. You'll want as many co morbidites (contributing factors) as possible so you can't be denied. Self pay is a different set of rules and time lines. Hopefully both health concerns can be resolved. Good luck 💙 -
Some researchers believe it's not as simple as calories in vs calories out. There are other metabolic/hormonal elements that can affect weight. Type of food & hydration levels also affect weight on the scale. And weight fluctuations can come from a host of factors. But you don't want to lose just any weight... (water loss from dehydration is inferior to fat loss) you want to lose fat. May people suggest getting a scale that measures body fat so you can track that instead of just numerical weight. Good luck💙

Restriction Feeling 2+ years out?
GreenTealael replied to Brent701's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Generally capacity increases over time and eating until full years out may put you at risk for overeating/ excess cal intake. At 18+ months out, my capacity is way different than in the early stages. Also hunger may return. I manage mine by eating healthier low cal sugar free versions of foods whenever possible and salads when I'm ravenous. I only indulge rarely these days instead of everyday. You may have to be very diligent now while you don't have either an increase in capacity or extreme hunger prompts to really nail down making a habit out of portion control, but you can do it! Luckily you have a tool to help you in the initial stages to make the transition easier! The lifestyle change is real for a lot of people to maintain instead of gain. Good Luck 💙 -

6\11: Have a good cry... Nope

Don't stress, its probably mostly water retention. I can gain 3 lbs overnight for no reason, then it goes away a few days later and I've changed literally nothing!

Personally I needed this 😘
