GreenTealael replied to momof3_angels's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Try not to bring too much. I over packed for both of my surgeries (and im a minimalist) The thing I used the most was the button for the pain pump Good Luck π -

Can't tolerate protein supplements.
GreenTealael replied to Firemedic69's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Hi Try unflavored protein powder (Genepro & Isopure) Protein water (Premier, Protein 2o), Protein juice style powders (Syntrax), protein shots and protein soup. The BP store here has a lot of different types. Also try whey Isolate not concentrate (Isopure) & vegan protein (Ghost) Good Luck π -

Weighing your food on a food scale
GreenTealael replied to chaibaix's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes I measured and counted to an extent. It helped me initially to know amounts until I had a good get a handle on them. Now I can see the amounts because I'm so used to it. But further out it *may* help more if your weightloss slows prematurely or when you want to ease into maintenance. Check with your Team about how they want you to track your intake. Diffent programs have different rules. -
Hahahaha No, It's congenital

No not a traditional structure and it's not caused by the surgeries

Dilatation should resolve it but we'll see Im STILL in a relationship and ethically i dont think he could touch me without a scalpel π But a Girl can look and apparently so can a Doc π

Is 1000kcal a day too little PREOP???
GreenTealael replied to New&Improved's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you use a tracking app like MyFitnessPal it gives you caloric min/max to lose X lb/kil per week. That's a managable start especially for 8 weeks until surgery (you don't want to burn out). Play around and see where you are comfortable, but listen to your body if it suggests you need more Good Luck π -
Ive been super busy running around and lightly traveling. I didn't share because im still in the testing phase. Needed an emergency endo and another on the way. I have esophageal webbing but it should be easily resolved. My bypass however looks superb π Cant find a pic of him anywhere not even healthgrades but believe me ...π₯ Bonus: he's already seen me naked βΊ

151 today ππππ₯ I was 146 about a week ago and not happy about it (dehydration weight - thank goodness) I saw my new Surgeon Wed and he was very very very satisfied that i didn't lose too much after RNY conversion (especially because I am having a few issues) He's quite happy I bounced back up. He wants me healthy, maintaining and firmly in the 26-28 BMI range (the plan from the start) Also my smoking hot PA stopped in, even though he was busy, to tell me I looked great... Like 4 times π So maintenance is still in the 150s for me
