Bari things that give you the ick

A Cinderella style transformation. It can be weight related or not but it’s usually about becoming more beautiful in some physical way. -
Bari things that give you the ick

Adding the term Glow Up to the “ick” list. Idk why exactly but mainly because it’s over used. -

Super busy so I actually haven’t eaten as much as I normally would BUT here’s a realistic look at the pre meal snacks (while waiting for my meal). I didn’t really want any of these snacks so I kept switching until I found something good. I never did so I gave up😪 -

I need everyone to know that I was rushing this morning and tried to drain the excess liquid from a Greek yogurt and 90% of it fell out. There was no way I was opening another or taking a pic for this thread so I just ate an abnormally small portion despite my last post 🤣 -

That’s very sad to hear 😪. I only post highlights of the things I’m eating (that aren’t boring) and definitely not every meal because it would be 6-8 a day. I’m going to try to be more transparent and post the full meals I have (including drinks and snacks). I really hope no one is alienated by this thread. It is absolutely not the purpose to humble brag about how little is eaten. I don’t like unrealistic standards either. They aren’t helpful. I hope you decide to post more because representing all levels really matters especially for people who only see the small portions and think it’s the only “normal”. Come back please ❤️ -

I spritz a little EVOO directly on the dumplings but they don’t really need it at all. The protein count was a lackluster 3 grams 🤣 which is why I added minced Turkey to the meal. -

Air fried Vegetable Gyoza & Ground Turkey. I’m prepping two different meals but decided to eat these together. -

Feeling dizzy?
GreenTealael replied to happynewbie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It could be a few things like lowered blood pressure or dehydration/electrolyte imbalance. Your best bet is to contact your doctor and let them know as soon as possible. -

A lighter version of a regular menu item. I think the high calorie count is from the dressings (which I didn’t eat & the regular version was 3x the calories). -

Salad! Salmon with a pre made mix called sweet kale: kale, cabbage, brussel sprouts etc. It comes with seed mix toppings of pepitas, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries. I think the included dressing is a creamy poppy seed blend (which I never eat) I used sesame oil and soy sauce to dress it. I almost made the mistake of adding croutons knowing that this is already a lot of chewing.I’m so glad I did not. 😆 Also a protein water I’ve been working on for the past 2 days. They have improved a lot in the last 5 years -

I always have to buy 2 types of soy sauce for my family. I can only tolerate the low sodium version. I’ll definitely post when I make this dish! -

Did your surgeon permanently remove those listed foods from your diet or for a short period? Week by week things will get better and you will eventually return to a normal routine but I understand completely. It is very hard giving up foods you like even for short periods of time. Hang in there! Glad you are doing well and recovering after the complications ❤️
