Usually if there are no complications: follow up appts happens in the 6th, 9th,12th (maybe 18th) month then usually yearly. In my experience the doctor visits are nearly as expensive as the labs if you need to do it out of pocket. That's when you'll likely need/want to shop around for the best price Good Luck 💚

Post op traveling
GreenTealael replied to CaitMarc917's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Would it be possible to postpone surgery until after the deployment? It is *possible* (but highly unpredictable as you will have no clue what state you'll be in post op) I've taken long rides immediately after surgery but they NEEDED to be broken into segments to prevent the development of blood clots. Also, I was absolutely exhausted and i wasn't even driving. Public bathroom breaks were fraught with peril. If you must: carry your protein drinks with you chilled along with meds, vitamins, water etc... Try to make them a priority especially hydration. Good Luck 💚 and thank him, for us, for his service -
Insurance recommendations...

GERD sucks. I didn't have to wait long for mine either because it was for GERD not regain. If diet issues were also behind regain the classes may help reinforce new/ better habits so it may be worth if you had to complete them. Good Luck 💚 -
I have to all of them 😂 p.s. last one was for proof of infidelity not insecurity 💃 I am not ashamed.

Gained 6lbs overnight
GreenTealael replied to Brent701's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You know A Lot of people maybe hesitant to post because it leaves them wide open to criticism and unsolicited advice which can sometimes be a bitter pill to swallow. But Maybe, possibly, hopefully someone, maybe even yourself, can benefit from hearing your story. I would suggest looking objectively at your story and giving the advice to yourself that you would give to someone else in your place. Also some goals take quite a bit of time, effort and flexibility to reach. Don't count yourself out just yet. But don't let a 6lbs gain turn into 12, 18, 24... Good Luck 💙 -

Post-op aversion to protein drinks?
GreenTealael replied to Mrs. Mercedes's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Try adding water to the shakes before you give up on them. They may simply be too concentrated for you right now. It's only been 8 days since surgery so you may have some sensitivity. -

Literally no one: Me: *YOU ASKED FOR IT!* 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ########### Keto Chicken Patties ############ Scratch made (basically made exactly like the Salmon croquettes) You could pulse it in a food processor to give it a more commercial texture but i did not. Also probably a candidate for airfryers... One day soon I'll get one 😉 *not pictured various spices 20191002_133833.mp4 -

Help! Going out of town the day I can start puree
GreenTealael replied to Lynda486's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
You *could* delay starting purees and continue liquids until you return because new food stages are tricky when it comes to digestion/bathroom habits (but 4hrs is not a very long trip) Yogurt and cottage cheese is very accessible/easy to eat on the fly when traveling Have a great trip 💚 -
Hi, Revision type, timing and approval is very individual. You need to consult your Surgeon for accurate answers. While you wait perhaps can track your food meticulously and even join us in some of the threads that refocus your lifestyle/habits: You may find that you can reach your goals without revision surgery 💙 Good Luck
