1+ week post plastics update: My flight home made swelling skyrocket 😳😅. Luckily I was forewarned this would be an issue❤ My legs (thighs) were so puffy for the last 2 days that they rubbed again. So I slept with my legs extremely elevated and took a diuretic and it helped A LOT. I was 164 lbs yesterday and now 156 lbs this morning. Yeah. I cannot find a lymphatic massage therapist in my immediate area so I am going to do it myself with includes me buying the machine from Amazon 😍. I actually could tell the difference in my swelling, posture and stiffness before and after the massage so I need to do these. I'm super glad I had 3 sessions (really 2: 1 regular and 1 extended) and asked a ton of questions. Also the therapist showed me how everything worked and explained the process thoroughly. I'm still wearing the compression socks along withq abdominal binder all day & night. I am only taking a few breaks between to readjust but sadly I'm far too swollen to even attempt the Faja yet (and I did attempt it 😔) All of my pain is still in the abdominal area. Nothing, absolutely nothing from my breast. But can feel sensation on the left more than the right breast (but both nipples seem to be working still ❤) I can go with no pain meds or just Tylenol during the day and sometimes, something stronger at night. Doing pretty well 💚

You may have hit a long stall/plateau. Now is a good time to check in with your Team (if you can) to receive sound medical advice, conduct labs & see the NUT again. Good Luck 💚

Hey 👋 Your stomach capacity may change over time. So the first 6 months may feel different from the next 6, etc etc Ah to be young and in love...You and your GF don't have to be on the same diet, but you do have to stick to yours. DO NOT switch to her diet unless your Surgeon agrees. So this is a where real life sneaks up on you and sadly can't always meal prep... When eating out, I ALWAYS ask for the plainest preparation possible (burgers: everything on the side no sauces, chinese food: just the meat and VEGETABLES- you knew that was coming 😅, mexican: no rice,chips or extra sauces & cheeses, etc.) This way i can try to estimate the cals in the food easier The hair loss is called Telogen Effluvium, consult- Dr. Google Body Dysmorphia likely will stick around maybe therapeutic treatment exist but I find photos help immensely because you can actually compare the differences Good Luck💚

If done laproscopically, same amount of invasiveness (perhaps you mean a less complicated type of surgery?) Trust the skill and advice of your Surgeon. Ask exactly why they prefer the bypass over the sleeve for you. In the end, at least you are well informed when you make the decision you want. Good Luck. 💚

Can you ask your surgeon if you can first try to alternate your protein shakes with a builder's/gainer's protein shake? If you are structurally sound/intact IMHO i wouldn't mess with it... Day 5 update: Second lymphatic massage yesterday and it also helped. I wake up really swollen so i got a heating pad to help. Followed up with my amazing surgeon yesterday and we discussed follow ups, complication signs, how to care for my new belly button and incisions. I also purchased my Colombian Faja (compression garments) yesterday and discuss low salt diet to reduce swelling/bloating with the shop owner. No weight taken, and removed skin was not weighed either but OR pictures were given to me 😳 I slept in a bed last night and getting in and out alone was a bit of a struggle, but not on pain meds today... Maybe before bed ON MY WAY HOME ❤
