I also lost less than 20lbs my first month, maybe 10-15? ๐ But I'm a firm believer that the longevity of our loss (maintenance โค) is much more important that the initial pace. Stay focused on your _____ year plans Good Luck ๐ -

I bought a roll of a medipride single use type to test my skin's reaction. So far so good. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07WD59WNX?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title But Next I plan getting a reusable (strips) type -

Cranberry Pineapple (mostly) Sugar free Scones. Sorry to anyone forced to lick their screens. Regular flour (so good for maintenance?), stevia, egg, milk, water, pineapple juice, cranberries, mango sugar free syrup, oil, baking powder and cane sugar (dusting) Next time I plan use 50% coconut and 50% wheat flours -

Anyone wearing anytype of scarfs, wraps, pashminas, hijabs, geles, etc? (I bought a bucket load of silk scarfs in Barcelona, Rome & Paris a while back and I love them so much they barely see the light of day because I'm afraid to ruin them ๐)

I agree that we need to be our own healthcare advocates. Question: Are your consults done in private? (I know if I was taking meds for a disease I didn't want to discuss or that carries social stigmas {like mental illnesses or STDs} and my pharmacist wanted me to I explain why I'm taking certain meds especially within earshot of others... I would be irate, I value privacy) Now asking if I had any questions about my meds feels different (which is what I have experienced)

2 weeks+ update: Still very swollen from the TT, but I'm being super patient because I'm super satisfied with the breast lift outcome. From everything I'm reading and looking at on the internet, after 3-4 months your true results will show because most of the swelling should subside. My faja is far too tight most days to put on so I'm mostly using other compression garments and the binder. I wore the faja out the other day and its fine for standing etc but nothing else. I want it off ASAP. But I think its because my swelling levels fluctuate. Weight is also fluctuating up and down depending on swelling, yesterday I was 155lbs and today 151lbs I've been off all pain meds for quite a while but last night I was so sore and itchy that I needed a Tylenol PM. I believe the itching is the regeneration of... fascia? nerves? whatever. Its hella annoying ๐ I have an area where I prematurely broke my stitches on the side and I can tell I'm going to need to work hard to have that scar disappear but I already started using silicone scar tape and will care for it diligently. Anyone have tips send them my way! I now have strong sensation on both nipples, hooray! I'm thoroughly enjoying the shape and size of the new breast โค Blurry pics attached ๐ -

Effect on families

These post are permanent and the Internet never forgets... I'm still not sure who exactly this cautionary tale is for? Spouses of patients? Surely not the patients here who knowing their pitfalls decide to work on them. have done their research and rigorously pass all evaluations. We. Are. Prepared. Frankly, if your spouse had heart or knee surgery with complications and fell into the well of addiction and depression, you likely would not be on forums for that type of support saying you hate cardiothoracic or orthopaedic surgery. Perhaps the better cautionary tales : Life is like castles built in the sand You never truly know someone Divorce is possible Otherwise your monologues are falling on deaf, but well informed, ears good day.
