    OOTD

But so you do have a quick answer - it's usually eating outside of set meal times and often when not even hungry. Sometimes when transitioning into maintenance some people may have to graze in order to add extra cals to stop weight loss.

Hispanics! Any post op diet ideas?

Definitely Sopa & Sancocho but try to make them lower calorie, Pollo Guisado but no mangu and plantanos until atleast 4- 6 months out (ask your Team first, it may slow down weight loss early on) I would definitely skip arroz con anything until you reach maintenance.

    Food Before and After Photos

Me ! I'm a food voyeur, as I still can't handle everything and probably never will But I thought it might be a bit too much to ask people to take pics while biting into food so I can live vicariously through them 😌😁
  9. Anyone drinking ACV for better digestion, general health benefits, weightloss, etc? I just tried some and WOW I'm not a fan 😖Perhaps my delivery method (straight w/ lemonade chaser) is at fault? Thoughts? Gripes? Solicitations?

    🍎Apple Cider Vinegar🍎

Sooooo I've noticed by drinking a little (mixed into something) almost every morning since Feb 28th that it speeds up digestion and evacuation 😳 Also not super certain its related but *may* have an additional weight loss effect because I'm close to the low end of my weight window again, despite eating whatever I want. *I also resumed a protein shake per day again so I'm meeting the reqs & not just eating carbs but this did not replace a meal

Good question! *Maybe* start a separate thread so a lot more people can chime in without flooding this one ❤

Peanut Butter almost 2weeks Post OP

Ask your Team. But, in the early days post op *perhaps* focus on a maintaining a caloric deficit to maximize weight loss. Peanut Butter is very calorically dense. Most tend to eat more that a single serving because its usually not weighed or measured accurately. If at 2 weeks post op you should be consuming ~600 cals (confirm amount with your Team), peanut butter will be 1/6 -1/3 your intake for the day. Good Luck ❤

Sit on a lower level or lay down with the baby 😍 If I remember correctly the restriction is to prevent hernia from developing.

    Oh, Just Another Plastics Story

Compared to... Where? NYC? LA? Mexico? Colombia? Dominican? Turkey? Abu Dhabi? Or which combination of procedures? Breast aug/Tummy Tuck? Breast aug/Brazilian butt lift? Lipo/Tummy tuck? Brazilian butt lift/Lipo? Breast aug/Lipo? There are a lot of variables in consideration of price. My surgery was not very expensive (to me) considering that I am very satisfied ❤ Below a link to surgeons chiming in on the matter https://www.realself.com/question/mommy-makeover-cost

Depends on the surgery but yes. With VSG you may have a reduction in hunger, strong restriction initially controlling caloric intake per eating session and *pyloric valve remains intact. With RNY you have a smaller stomach attached directly to the intestines so initially you may have reduced hunger but mostly caloric and nutritional malabsorption, *pyloric valve and below is bypassed until the intestines reunited lower in the digestive tract. Duodenal switch/SIPS/etc. You will have a mixture. The anatomy of VSG higher in the digestive tract before a complex rerouting of Intestines lower in the digestive track with a mixture of restrictions & caloric/nutritional malabsorption. *Pyloric valve controls frequency and timing of the emptying of stomach contents into intestines ABSOLUTELY all of these surgeries can be worked around/cheated on by overconsumption of calories/increased frequencies of meals/etc which leads to major regain. Sometimes this stretches the newly revised stomach but for most it's the excess calories long-term that's the real problem. For most people these surgeries are just jumpstarts to better habits or changed lifestyles to maintain the weight ❤
