Thank you i appreciate the ❤ I lost one of my Aunts to COVID could not attend the funeral because of regulations, another Uncle was deathly ill but survived and my stepfather passed from a major stoke and we could not hold a proper funeral. Some people are not worried about their weight right now This pandemic affected so many aspects of many of our lives. It has become increasingly difficult to watch people i.e. @BayougirlMrsS @Riva_G. @New&Improved disingenuously ask questions they clearly don't want the answers to, get annoyed with hearing about it, or use the opportunity to showcase their feigned superiority (in that order)

Nope. From my consults and research skin issues such as candida rashes that require nystatin powder (or other types) would count but a time frame (6/12 months) of continued use without improvement is necessary in order for insurance to consider it & It must be WELL documented. For breast reductions, a specific amount (tissue, not skin) needs to be removed/removable for insurance to cover it. This is the process my Bariatric Surgeon started but I decided to self pay to expedite the process.

Yes! This need. Thanks I forgot to add this
-
Most insurance will pay for some skin removal but your doctor(s) have to document the need so start there. Otherwise here are my tips for raising funds: + second or third job + crowdsourcing + side hustles + estate sale + lottery + inheritance + sugar daddy 😂 Good Luck

^Agree^ It will be expensive ( more or less depending on who and where) but also full body can mean more procedures than you think based on each surgeons consults.

Looks good! So simple yet satisfying. I like to maple glaze things Unsolicited Tip Alert: Don't forget to add honey to the food log (if you are depending on it for tracking) if the salmon is in fact honey glazed. You'd be surprised how many cals honey adds 😭 -

Surgery for non-weight reasons?
GreenTealael replied to cmac1mcB's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I had WLS to correct a rare-ish neurological condition that was believed to be exacerbated by obesity. I could call my WLS an off brand therapy for my Neuro condition but personally I'd be splitting hairs. Prior to the development of the neuro condition, I was relatively healthy for an obese person (no precursors of common obesity related comorbidities). But that flipped completely over a few weeks. When brain surgery or WLS were the modalities of treatment, I chose the latter. I have only seen miniscule improvements in the Neuro aspect but holistically I am better without the excess weight and the likelihood that I will develop the obesity comorbidities are significantly reduced if my weight stays within optimal range, especially if I don't have genetic and environmental catalyst. Still, good luck with your journey -
Also just a quick search on Scholar and found numerous research articles on the role of stress in weight gain Here's just one ( I chose this one because it was free to access and had an impressive reference section) https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/0306453094E00417 Endocrine_and_psychological_evaluation_o.pdf
