I'm not sure if you had the Fundoplication yet but if not, ask your surgeon if the RNY conversion with hernia repair will provide a better long term outcome with fewer surgeries down the line. 2nd and 3rd opinions are also an option. Good Luck -
I was converted from VSG to RNY, so I don't know if there would be a difference, but I have no problems with fats. I do however, have problems with sugar. I think it will be HIGHLY individualized and you won't really know what affects you until it happens.

Generally a new patient appointment perhaps w/ a physical. Then surgery approval/clearance appointment. Ask the coordinator if they work with any specific physicians that they work with the practice or a referral to a physician they are certain supports metabolic/weight loss surgery. If they do, the process will go smoother. Good luck ❤
