Are fried pork skins a 'forbidden food' after wls? It has no cards, and yes, minimal Protein. It's the word FRIED that is hanging me up. Anyone try them?

Oh man I want to know the answer to this. I'm pre op, but I am so nervous about my numbers jumping all over the place! ansavla-- if you don't mind me asking, how did you manage the highs and lows?

Since I started my pre-op prep my sugars have been between 80 & 95. I was on 3 different diabetes meds and I have been able to quit taking them. Fortunately, I have not hit any highs or lows yet.

Has anyone tried Gatorade after surgery? I was worried about being diabetic and all of the sugar in Gatorade, but my sugars have been low and I need something else besides Water, propel & crystal light...
