I am out of surgery and I had a little bit of nausea, but that finally subsided. The gas however took a bit longer, Drinking hurt big timed, so I did what any mother would do... I patted and rubbed my chest until I burped.. It was the most wonderful burp I've had today. I'm feeling sooooo much better. How are the rest of the 11/8's?

I got the nausea... but it didn't last long.. the gas pains in my chest was a PITA. I'm burping them up now. That spot where they took my stomach out hurts too, but I was told that was normal. I'm glad you did so well.

I am very swollen. I am still not in pain. I have surgery pain but that’s it. I can drink my liquids just find. My husband got me this cup called my hydration , it least me know loud and clear that I need to be drinking something. I love it.

I don’t have any nausea either. I am just sore at the spot where he pulled my stomach through.

I am so glad you are okay and your nausea wasn’t too bad. I will keep that burp tip in my pocket for my turn. Take care of yourself.

About to head back for surgery. I almost talked myself out of it, but I'm here. Praying this is the best decision of my life!

I go to the hospital in a few hours. My surgery isn't until 4 pm CST. I'm up all night anyway so this is good timing for me. Good luck with yours, may your nausea be calm or something like that.

Today is Surgery Day for me. I have to be there at 2 pm for surgery at 4 pm. I miss my coffee and Water. I am 100% packed and ready to go after I get dressed. I'm such a procrastinator.

sleep earphones x Cpap hose and mask x baby wipes x toothbrush and toothpaste x deoterant x shampoo and body soap x brush/comb x hair ties for hot flashes x alcohol pads for nausea x lotion x pads for underwear x PJ's x underwear x robe x slippers x pillow x biotene dry mouth spray x lip balm x gas x gaviscon x crystal light and mio x

I go in at 2 pm to have surgery at 4 pm. Weirdly I'm not hungry, just thirsty. Had to give up the Water at 10 am. I'm not really nervous either. I made my list and checked it twice.. I'm 100% packed and showered... I just need to get dressed. Good luck with your surgery.. We've got this!!

So I will be going home today no pain still. No gas no nothing. B

I'm today at 1pm. Long morning so far. I'm starving and kinda weak/tired from Clear Liquids only. Have a pretty decent headache. It's 7:30 am and don't need to leave for hospital until 11:15. Think I'll quilt a bit and keep my mind off. My husband is making sausage and eggs and I am having hard time with smell I'm so hungry LOL. I'm not nervous YET. Just want it over with. I'm keeping positive.

Thanks. I should have looked it up first. It is Emend. I have never had Post-Op nausea either, buy doc says this will cause it, and I will weigh more when I leave the hospital than on admission because he will fill me full of fluids.Good luck to you too! I think you are before me. [emoji3]

Had my last nutrition visit today, and I was down 4 lbs! Pre Op on the 20th and Surgery on the 30th! Getting so close.

Been thinking about you! Was wondering how you were doing. This is all great news! I hope I recover tomorrow just like you are.

I'm 11/8.. I've been doing laundry and packing. I still have to shower with my hibiclens tonight and trying to find ways to relax. How are you doing @SeaSounders?
