    Just been Sleeved

I did the first few weeks but it has simmered down. If I try new foods that don't sit well, it can bubble up again. Sent from my LG-TP450 using BariatricPal mobile app

96 pounds down in three months

Each person is different and will have different experiences. I'm six weeks out and 55 lbs down! My U of M doc is just fine with my progess. I started walking 10K steps every day three days after surgery and haven't looked back. I get my protein and food in. Celebrate success and share in the joy! A week from surgery!

I packed comfy jammies & slippers, a toothbrush & paste, and my phone charger. I brought a couple of protein packs in case I needed them, but really didn't. I slept the first day, and was in/out the second day due to the meds. I had tomato soup and mashed potatoes for when I got home, and purchased a strainer for the soups. Best of luck to you! You got this!

  12. I'm almost 4 weeks post op and was on full liquids for two weeks and purees for two weeks. I move to soft foods on Wed! I enjoyed tomato soup and thinned mashed potatoes my first two weeks and then eggs (egg salad), low fat string cheese and even baby foods (variety) these past two weeks. I find if I stay active each day I don't think about food too much. One thing I had to learn - food only has has meaning and value if you allow it to do so. It was a mindset change for me that worked. 42 lbs down since my journey started on 5/17 with pre-op. Hang in there, it does get easier! Sent from my LG-TP450 using BariatricPal mobile app
